Rich Homie Quan took to Instagram today (September 25) to apologize for a video where he is shown smoking with his one-year-old son on his lap.
“To whom it may concern: First off,I would like to apologize to my son,(Royal) my fans and all the parents around the world,” he writes for the caption of a picture of him kissing his son. “By no means would I do anything to hurt my son or any kid in the world.”
It was reported earlier today that police and child services were investigating Rich Homie Quan after seeing the video. They specifically wanted to ask him what he was smoking and were said to be considering leveling criminal charges against the “Flex” rapper.

“I regret that I chose to continue to smoke once Royal jumped in my lap,” Rich Homie Quan says in the caption. “After looking back on it I realize my error and I am sorry for my actions. I would also like to take the time to let people around the world know that this pedestal that I have been placed upon I do not take it for granted but I need people to understand that I am only human and I make mistakes just like anyone else. In spite of this situation I will continue to strive to be the best parent I can be. Thanks RHQ!!”

A video surfaced of Rich Homie Quan smoking with his one-year-old son on his lap.
TMZ reports that Child Protective Services in Georgia saw the video and is conducting an investigation with the Fulton County Police Department because it appears that the Atlanta rapper was smoking a marijuana cigarette in the video.
The investigators want to ask Quan what he was smoking and are also considering leveling criminal charges against the rapper, including endangering a child and reckless behavior.
