Nas To Replace Snoop Dogg At New York State Fair

Nas is scheduled to replace Snoop Dogg at the New York State Fair tonight (September 2) at Chevy Court, Syracuse.com reports.

Snoop Dogg cancelled his set yesterday afternoon (September 1) due to illness. Hours later, the event confirmed Nas as his replacement.

“We are so fortunate to be able to secure an artist of Nas’s stature on such short notice,” Acting Fair Director Troy Waffner says. “His record as a performer speaks for itself.”

The Queensbridge, New York rapper performed in his home state twice during the “Time is Illmatic” tour last year, which followed the documentary film about his 1994 debut album, Illmatic.
