Common has responded to reports that his former girlfriend, tennis player Serena Williams, is in a relationship with Drake.
“As long as she’s happy, I’m good,” the Chicago rapper says to TMZ. “That’s my friend. We dated, that’s done. That’s been done a long time ago. So now it’s like we friends.”
The celebrity website caught Williams and Drake kissing at a Cleveland restaurant Sunday (August 23).
Drake and Common have feuded over the number-one-ranked tennis player since 2011. Drake claimed two years later that he came away with the win.
