Last week, the Berkeley, California rapper expressed his “love” for the Vermont senator and his family. Days later, Lil B gave Sanders his official endorsement via Twitter.

“As much as I want to a woman leading the USA, right now it’s all about Bernie @BernieSanders @SenSanders he’s the real he loves us – Lil B,” Lil B tweeted yesterday (July 15).

“How do these political people running for government not follow one black person over Twitter? But Bernie @BernieSanders follows me – Lil B,” he said via Twitter.

Lil B doesn’t serve as the first Hip Hop artist to endorse the Brooklyn, New York-born politician. Last month, Killer Mike voiced his support for Sanders via Twitter.

“It’s official I support @SenSanders! His call 4 the restoration of the voters rights act sealed the deal for me,” Killer Mike said in a tweet sent on June 29.
