Killer Mike and Run The Jewels partner El-P appeared on DJ Whoo-Kid’s Whoolywood Shuffle yesterday (July 13). During the interview Mike calls FOX News host Bill O’Reilly a “cocksucker” in regards to O’Reilly being accused of domestic violence during a custody battle.
“I was going to go on there and cut his throat like Ice-T did Oprah back in the day,” the Atlanta rapper says.
“But it turns out you’re a woman beater,” Killer Mike continues regarding information that was revealed during a custody battle that O’Reilly beat his wife. “Doesn’t listen to rap. There you go cocksucker.”
News of Bill O’Reilly choking his wife and dragging her down a flight of stairs came after he asserted that Hip Hop is the reason for the decline of Christianity in America.
“People of faith are being marginalized by a secular media and pernicious entertainment,” O’Reilly said. “The Rap industry, for example, often glorifies depraved behavior, and that sinks into the minds of some young people – the group that is most likely to reject religion.”

I respect that Killer Mike is willing to throw his hat in the ring and engage in political conversations, we need more of that. And I hate Bill O’Reilly. With that said, for every smart thing Killer Mike says on these shows, he says something equally ignorant. It would also help if his name wasn’t “Killer Mike”. There’s GOTTA be a more creative and meaningful name he can come up with. Your name shouldn’t be a big deal, but it is. You’re gonna turn people off from jump with a name like “Killer Mike”, and if your goal is to reach people, then you have to take than into consideration. If a dude’s name was “Rapist Rick”, and he was trying to drop knowledge on you, would you listen? C’mon now.
His name isn’t negative. It means he kills mic’s. A killer on the microphone. It isn’t a hard concept to understand.
