Meek Mill says that Rick Ross was being treated unfairly when he was arrested for kidnapping and assault charges and not given bail.

“Free Ricky Rozay one time,” the Philadelphia rapper, who is signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, says in an interview posted on DJ Whoo Kid‘s YouTube page. “They got my man down on some bullshit.

“The ‘equal’ word is going around a lot lately,” Meek Mill adds. “We waiting for Rozay to get treated equal to get a bail so he can fight his case to see if he innocent or guilty. ‘Cause right now, they’re already given the impression of he guilty. They ain’t letting him out of jail to even be able to fight his case. You’re giving the impression to like jurors and stuff like that already, if a juror ever got a hand of the case, they’re gonna think he guilty already ’cause he’s doing time for it already.”

The interview was conducted before Ross posted a bond of $2 million and was released Wednesday (July 1) from the Fayette County, Georgia jail.

“We go through tribulations, trials and tribulations, but you know, it just makes you stronger and go harder,” Meek Mill says.
