Lil Wayne Joins TIDAL

Jay Z’s music streaming service, TIDAL, has added another Hip Hop heavyweight to its roster.

In addition to releasing his latest track “Glory” on the site, Lil Wayne has officially joined the TIDAL team as an artist owner, according to Consequence of Sound.

TIDAL executive, Vania Schlogel, made the announcement via press release.

“We’re honored for Lil Wayne to join TIDAL,” said Schlogel. “His eagerness to release an exclusive TIDAL track and schedule a TIDAL X performance is just another example of how passionately artists care about getting their music to fans.”

Details regarding Wayne’s TIDAL X performance have not been revealed. TIDAL artist owners J. Cole, Jack White, and Jay Z have previously performed for subscribers as part of the music streaming service’s TIDAL X concert series.

Wayne’s forthcoming Free Weezy Album could be released exclusively through TIDAL, as well.
