Migos member Offset believes he will be released from prison “in like three weeks.”
During a recent telephone interview with Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9, Offset (born Kiari Cephus) announced the tentative date.
The Atlanta-bred rapper has been behind bars for nearly a month after he was arrested – alongside Quavo, Takeoff, and several members of the Migos’ crew at a concert on Georgia Southern University’s campus. They were charged with possession of a schedule II narcotic, and carrying a loaded firearm on school property. Quavo and Takeoff posted a $10,000 bail but Offset’s was denied.
Offset wasn’t able to speak in depth about his upcoming hearing or the case but he did speak on reports that he yelled expletives at a judge after he was denied bond.

“I’ve got another bond hearing, after they denied my bond due to the fact I caught them little extra charges,”he said. “I can’t really talk too much about the case, but yeah, these folks out here racist. They’re trying to bash my name and make my image look bad. What the hell I look like saying, ‘F the judge and the D.A. in court?’”
During his prison stint, Offset was charged with battery and causing a riot in a penal institution for his involvement in a fight with another inmate at the Bulloch County Jail.
A visual of Offset’s interview with Hot 107.9’s Durrty Boyz was uploaded to the Atlanta station’s site but it has since been deleted.
