Ghostface Killah Recalls Being Kicked Out Of Barbados With Raekwon

During a newly published interview with VladTV, Ghostface Killah recalled being kicked out of Barbados while recording Raekwon’s debut album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx….

The Wu-Tang member says that while they were on the Caribbean island, they were continually subjected to prejudice and eventually kicked out. The two rappers subsequently decided to go to Miami to continue recording the LP.

“We went to Barbados, we got kicked out of Barbados,” Ghost says. “They was kind of like prejudice over there. They wanted us to leave. They didn’t want us to wear fatigues over there and all of this other shit. And it wasn’t just the white man that was prejudice over there it was like your own kind that was working for the white man. It was crazy over there. They told on us and we had to leave. But it was good though because we slid to Miami and that’s where we got most of our darts at right there. You know how it was in Miami in ’95, they still on Scarface shit.”

Ghost also revealed that his forthcoming Supreme Clientele 2: Blue & Cream album is around 85 percent completed.

    1. And it wasn’t just the white man that was prejudice over there it was like your own kind that was working for the white man.

LOL always gotta be a white man problem- you ever thing just bc black ppl are black they are sick of the image black americas give the rest of the world? black ppl outside america don’t like black americans
..but its nothing new according to black ppl something bad happens its bc of white people even if it has nothing to do with white ppl lol clowns thats all black americans do..blame blame blame

      1. Ghost probably knows more about the situation than you, he went through it. It’s not impossible that blacks in Barbados would suck up to the people in power (whites) and be prejudiced against American blacks. I’m white too, but racism exists.

      2. Of course AKA Pacino AKA Sam Snead you’re just a prejudiced racist . Extremely confused that you even like this genre of music in all honesty

    2. Just to say as someone from Barbados, Ghostface is being a little ignorant. The fact is fatigues are banned in Barbados. It’s illegal for anyone who isn’t from the Barbados military to wear them, So why should he or the Raek expect to get any special treatment? There are a bunch or other archaic laws, for example – using profanity at shows is banned. Archaic, yes, but still the law of the land. If you cuss on stage you are asked to leave. It’s happened to bigger stars than Ghostface and it will continue to happen until the law is changed, but don’t paint all of Barbados with that prejudice brush. Be aware of what is expected of you when you go to the island. Lost a lot of respcect for Ghostface on this one. Making those statements without understanding the root cause shows an alarming level of ignorance.

      1. Barbados is wack af – Only person I’m mad at is your moms. Rather be boring than live in a country that has open season on black men.

      2. wtf do you know about the country I live in? don’t assume bro.. you sounding really salty right now because barbados boring and the women are ugly (you’re mom too)..whereas the country I live in (also an Island but none of your damn business) is not boring af and the women are gorgeous.. PLUS aint no Uncle Toms where i’m at, on the contrary there is minimal love for the gringo.. Uncle Tom ass, boring ass, no pretty girl gettin ass nucca!

    3. As a bajan I gotta say. …Ghost pretty much summed up life here. These ppl are still slaves in their minds
