Gucci Mane is adamant about continuing his career while in prison.

Though the Atlanta-bred rapper has been behind bars since last May, he has found ways to release albums, mixtapes, and loose tracks on the Internet.

Now, Gucci claims to be collaborating with renowned EDM producer Diplo.

Guwop took to Twitter on Saturday (August 18) to announce that he has an upcoming EDM album with Diplo “on the way.”

The untitled album would serve as the first joint project the two have put together and Gucci’s first proper EDM attempt.

However, Diplo responded to Gucci Mane’s tweet, clarifying that their collaboration is not an EDM album but the two are indeed working together.

In 2010, Diplo reworked a handful of Gucci Mane mixtape tracks and assembled the mixtape,Diplo Presents: Free Gucci (Best of The Cold War Mixtapes). Gucci Mane was imprisoned at the time, as well.
