Just a couple days after he announced that his next solo album is set to be released in June, Hudson Mohawke was forced to confirm last night that an alleged leak of information about Kanye West’s So Help Me GodCD packaging was fake.

As originally reported by Complex, a Snapchat user masquerading as the Scottish producer and frequent collaborator of West teased a photo on the image-sharing network last night of what looked like the album packaging for Ye’s next release.

The picture, which was captured by another user and then shared on Twitter, shows an all-black CD and gatefold packaging with the title So Help Me God in plain view.

HudMo quickly dismissed the picture as a fake with a Tweet reporting that he doesn’t even have a Snapchat account.

Hudson Mohawke’s next album is titled Lantern and will be released on June 16 on Warp, according to PitchforkLantern has 14 tracks and features Antony, Miguel, Jhene Aiko, and more. “This album is everything I’ve been working towards,” the electronic producer says. “I wanted to make a classic – at least for me and my friends. I never wanted to be any genre. I wanted to be my own thing. Everything.”
