Theophilus London spoke to Montreality on his tour bus after a recent show in Montreal.
In addition to mentioning that he’ll be back with Vibes part two “soon,” Theo spoke about his involvement in Kanye’s upcoming So Help Me God album.
Theo says that a candid conversation with ‘Ye led to an opportunity to write a song for his mentor.
“He’s like, ‘Yo, why don’t you write a song for me?'” London recalls. “‘Do you know how much pussy around the world you’d get if you’re on my album?'”
Theo explains within the seven-minute clip that he spent eight hours writing the song and that Kanye is the first person he has written for.
“I looked at Kanye and I was like, ‘Alright, you got the wife and the kids now, but you still that sex symbol,'” Theo says. “‘Instead of rapping about your wife and saying how you guys have sex, make it universal, talk about what you guys do but don’t say her name.’ So, every girl can think they’re the girl you’re talking about.
“I don’t know if it’s going to make it or not,” he adds.
On “All Day,” Theo explains that originally the song had a Jamaican sample but he and Kanye decided to swap the sample and use Theo’s background vocals.
“Kanye is changing the album everyday,” Theo says. “When I heard the album, it was done. Six-to-nine months later, he’s still working on it. So, everyday it’s a new album when he wakes up. He’s the hardest working dude and he’s older than all of us… That’s why I look up to him.”

Kanye helped write for Theo and now Theo has helped write for Kanye. Gotta love the sense of teamwork really.
Kanye never helped write for theophilus.
I had this old whiteman approach me the other day to talk about Kanye. I ain’t know this man from a hole in the wall, but I wouldn’t give him that quote/soundbite to take to his tribe. I talked about music in whole, which that man had absolutely no knowledge of. Just what’s posted in media. And many of you are the same way here daily. Maybe I should have approached him on Madonna falling as a stunt 1st to see what the whites think. Check yourselves, your ignorance is blatant.
how do he considers him self the best rapper when he has people to help him write. rhymfest, push t, common ,what’s that hard face dude from Chicago he was beefing with pusha him to
it took like 7 people to write that corny pop song with rihanna that with a basic acoustic guitar riff and a keyboard
and while that basic tune has been a worldwide sing-a-long for over 3 years, neither one of you can make a better song with your basic talents that’s why you online queefing
dr. Dre has people help him write but he don’t call himself the best rapper name your top five rapper and them name which one who says he need help writing.Tupac no, biggie ,Jay z no,fif no,rakim no, nas no,
If you look at the linear notes, Tupac, Biggie, etc., they all had a person help in writing in some songs.
they never need help with there rhymes , maybe the hook that’s it.that’s a big maybe
Did you all peep how Kanye don’t write his own rhymes or even produce his own beats no more? Yet he’s cockier than ever. Kim Kardashian ruined him.
Kanye’s ghost produced for so many people when he was coming up that I think he’s earned the right of a ghostwriter or producer.
Silly kids knocking Kanye for having ghost writers/producers/designers… lol. One day you’ll grow up and understand the meaning of a Boss. Ye’ is the architect, he doesnt need to hammer in every nail.
You’ll understand when you get older, son.
hes no architect, hes the rich guy with m0ney who hires the architects
No, No, No No…..Mr. Rapper (in my Pusha T voice)
After that last dud he released (shoes and album) he needs to get back to building from the ground up. Boss or no Boss his ego is larger than life now and can’t even see his own shadow.
If anything he needs to welcome Consequence back into the fold (I think they have reconciled), cause he needs some hits under his belt again.
The comments on this website are insightful and so well written/spoken. Keep it up.
THIS FOOL DON’T EVEN WRITE HIS OWN RHYMES ANYMORE….smdh or ever did.
smh, ‘Ye has fallen off and that “All Day” track sounds like a a Watch the Throne throwaway.
Why Ye Why???
