Is Young Thug prepping a Gangsta Grillz mixtape?
The eccentric rapper recently shared an image of himself via Instagram, alongside DJ Drama and Don Cannon. Both Drama and Cannon (Philly natives) have worked together extensively as The Aphilliates on a number of Gangsta Grillz mixtapes and two Gangsta Grillz albums.
Thugga didn’t provide any details as to why the trio was in the studio together or what they were working on.

Instead, he captioned the picture: “@djdrama @doncannon hey babes…..! Let’s work!”
If the “New Atlanta” rapper is indeed working on an upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape, he would join artists such as Lil Wayne, Jeezy, Pharrell and Gucci Mane, among others who have been a part of Drama’s popular mixtape series.
Thugga is already slated to release a collaborative album with Metro Boomin and a separate project with Rich Gang later this year.
