Pharrell has been a busy man. Besides his usual roles as producer and rapper, he is a designer for adidas and is now adding children’s book author to his resume.
According to Billboard, he signed a four-book deal with Putnam Books for Young Readers. The first picture book will be inspired by his song “Happy,” which won the Grammy for Best Music Video.
The book, which has the same title as the song, will “feature photographs of children from around the world ‘celebrating what it means to be happy.’”
It is scheduled for publication on September 22 and the first printing will be of 250,000 units.

He ain’t a real nigga. Real niggas don’t write books. Real niggas out in the streets husstling
