50 Cent’s New York Daily News takeover began today (December 13) with a meeting with the publication’s Editor-in-Chief, Colin Myler.

In addition to editing the paper’s Confidenti@l column, Fif was asked to help curate photos, attend meetings and write articles.

Online, the paper scheduled a live chat – via Twitter – with the rapper, where he fielded a wide range of questions.

Many of the questions pertained to 50’s upcoming album, Street King Immortal.

When asked what type of project SKI will be, 50 replied: “I try to balance the highlights from the past two records. To try to create a different style and the story telling.”

50 also revealed that his former label boss Eminem will be on SKI, as well.

“Yeah, he got a new song together on my new album,” he answered one fan. “So you’ll get a chance to hear that shortly.”

In terms of a release date for his sixth studio album, Fif hasn’t come up with one yet. He says he’s focusing on completing the record.

“I’m going to release a date shortly, but it’s definitely coming out,” he said. “I pushed it back to release the G-Unit EPs: The Beauty and Beast. It’s just now the focus on completing the record for me.”
