Soulja Boy has reached a plea deal with prosecutors for misdemeanor gun charges stemming from a January arrest, according to TMZ.
Yesterday (December 18), the 24-year-old rapper pled no contest to possession of a loaded firearm while operating a vehicle.
Soulja was pulled over in Los Angelesin January for initially running a stop sign. Law enforcement noticed a loaded .38 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver after he was pulled over and subsequently arrested the rapper.
Eight months later, Soulja was officially charged with “unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm” and possession of marijuana.

Soulja had remained mum about the situation on his social media accounts, but appeared to respond to his case with a series of retweets via Twitter yesterday.
