Murder Inc., the label on which Ja Rule released the majority of his music, celebrated its 15-year anniversary yesterday (June 1)

Following 50 Cent’s Summer Jam 2014 performance yesterday, Ja Rule addressed his longtime rival on Twitter.

“Damn after all these years I’m still in a niggas head lmao!!! Thanks for the shoutout @50cent #SummerJam2014,” Ja Rule said. “This nigga been on my dick he love my style!!! (Nas voice) lmfao @50cent. Ya’ll respect the one who got shot??? I respect the shooter!!! Niggas these days smh #hustlingbackwards lmao…”

These comments come following 50 Cent’s performance of “I Smell Pussy,” a track that disses Ja Rule and Murder Inc. On the song, 50 Cent calls Irv Gotti a “fat-ass.” He also mocks Rule, insults Charli Baltimore and expresses affection for Ashanti.
