Bump J, who has reportedly been incarcerated on a 10-year bid for pleading guilty to a bank robbery in 2007, recently addressed his bond with Kanye West.
“Kanye helped pay for my lawyer, and he’s a great friend,” Bump says in an interview with Miss Info. “I got nothing but for respect for ‘Ye. He’ll have first choice when I come home.
Bump says that date is coming soon.
“Right now, I’m looking to get out in February or sooner,” he says.
In the interview, Bump J also detailed what he listened to while incarcerated.
“We can’t really get any music in here,” he says, “but I heard that Chief Keef ‘I Don’t Like (Remix).’ I was feeling that.”

Yall forget–or missed–that he shouted out Bump J on the Don’t Like Remix. Bump J is well respected in the Chicago scene. He had a nice buzz before he caught his charge. The game has changed, and Kanye has changed, but I see him hooking him up with some beats and such when he gets out.
