Beyonce’s self-titled album is slated to be the #1 album in the country next week, with sales between 260,000 and 280,000, according to hitsdailydouble.com.
The story attributes the sales figures to the release’s iTunes sales and its arrival at retailers in CD form.
Last week, Beyonce sold 617,000 copies, as per Nielsen Soundscan. The sales figure, which was the most any of the singer’s albums have sold in their first week of release, earned Beyonce the #1 spot on the charts.
Eminem’s The Marshall Mather’s LP 2 is on pace to sell between 110,000 and 120,000 copies this week, as per hitsdailydouble.com. The Detroit rapper’s latest album has sold 1.4 million copies.

R. Kelly’s Black Panties is slated to between between 50,000 and 60,000 copies this week, the story says. The Chicago singer’s new album debuted at #4 on the chart last week with sales of 134,000.
“I think it’s explicit classic,” R. Kelly said of Black Panties during a recent interview. “You know, it’s sexual classy…I think it’s an album that’s gon’ be around for a while. Just like 12 Play. It’s forever. So, that’s what I’m expecting Black Panties to be. Just as long as women are gonna be wearing black panties, Black Panties will be around.”
