Mike Tyson was recently asked about Chris Brown’s legal troubles following the singer’s alleged fight and reported rehab entry this week.

“I really like and admire that little guy, but what he really needs to understand is that eventually, if you keep doing that stuff, people will turn on you,” Mike Tyson said during an interview with New York radio station 95.5, as per The Daily Mail

“I’m just worried about him because he’s really a sweet kid,” Mike Tyson said. “He’s probably going through some overbearing pressures and if he keeps getting violent cases, he was arrested for this, assault here, assault there, they’re going to put him somewhere where that’s all they do is assault people. That’s what they do all day.”

Tyson was asked about what he would tell Chris Brown if he had the chance to speak with the singer-rapper.

“Man, you got to get it together,” Tyson said. “I can’t even believe I’m saying this because I’m trying to work on getting it together…This is what I know. Chris should know this. If you’re not humble in this world, this world will thrust humbleness upon you. That’s just what’s gonna happen.”

Mike Tyson faced legal troubles throughout his career. He also faced allegations of assault. In February 1992 for instance, Tyson was convicted of one count of rape and two counts of deviate sexual conduct, according to cnn.com. In February 1999, Tyson was sentenced to serve a year in jail for assaulting two people after a car accident, as per cnn.com. In 2007, Tyson was arrested for cocaine possession and in 2009, Tyson was arrested after a fight with a photographer, according to cnn.com.

Today (October 30), it was reported that Chris Brown entered rehab for anger management issues. Brown’s legal troubles have been an issue in his career since at least February 2009, when Brown assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The incident resulted in a felony domestic violence conviction. He also reportedly violated his probation in August due to unfulfilled community service hours, as per cnn.com

Brown’s rehab entry follows a recent fight that he was allegedly involved in. CNN reports that the simple assault charge from that fight could result in a probation revocation. According to cnn.com, the judge on the case can give Brown up to four years in prison for the Rihanna assault if he is found to be in violation of probation stemming from that case.
