With help from Atlanta-based Chef Aleem, B.O.A.T.S. II rapper 2 Chainz will introduce a unique offering to those who purchase the deluxe edition of his upcoming album. Anyone who purchases the deluxe edition of B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time will receive a digital copy of “#MEALTIME,” a cookbook featuring 14 health-conscious recipes created by Chef Aleem.

Since 2 Chainz, who suffers from acid reflux and ulcers, does not eat beef or pork, the cookbook will consist of recipes that are made using only seafood and poultry. During a recent interview, the rapper expressed the importance of healthy eating, especially in the black community.

“I’m a seafood lover, I don’t eat beef or pork, period… so turkey, chicken, that’s a lot of the recipes I use and eat every day,” said the Atlanta lyricist while speaking with Power 105’s DJ Self. “It clogs up arteries, cholesterol, and things of that nature. Black people, the leading cause of death is high blood pressure.”

Among the recipes included in “#MEALTIME” are Crab Cakes With Mango Salsa, Garlicky Green Beans, Beer-Steamed Snow Crab Legs, and Teriyaki Salmon. The latter of which suggests the person preparing the meal, “feel free to watch ‘Belly’ on the big screen” while your salmon marinates in teriyaki sauce.

Images and recipes for the Teriyaki Salmon, Chicken Marsala, and Fried Chicken can be seen below. Additional “#MEALTIME” recipes can be found at HipHopWired.com.

Set for release on September 10, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time will serve as 2 Chainz’ second studio album. The project boasts production from Drumma Boy, Pharrell Williams, and other noted beatsmiths as well as guest appearances from Drake, Lil Wayne, Mase, and more.
