Brooklyn, New York-based emcee Wordspit recently told his fans to rock with Reese’s Puffs in a high energy commercial that calls the cereal “The perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolaty flavor”. He slowed down his rhymes and simplified his delivery for a 31 second Hip Hop styled video that caters to a younger audience.

The commercial is another good look for the lyricist. He has kicked rhymes in commercials by brands like McDonald’s, Roc-A-Wear and General Mills so this is not new territory for him. Nickelodeon’s Ryan Potter of Supah Ninjas also put in work for the new Reese’s Puffs commercial.

Wordspit began making noise in the Hip Hop world when he started hitting up the New York open mics, shows and random freestyle sessions. He has released a project, The Coolest Bboi Stance. In September of 2009, Wordspit was featured on HipHopDX’s DXnext. Since then he has collaborated with The Source Magazine at the 2010 SXSW Music Festival, he has been featured in commercials, and reached various milestones with his band The ILLest.
