Vinny Cha$e & Cheer$ Club Sign Deal With Epic Records Worth $2.5 Million

As of this week, Harlem rapper Vinny Cha$e and his Cheer$ Club label have found themselves a label home over at Epic Records, according to MTV News. Vinny revealed the news of his $2.5 million deal exclusively to MTV and also offered up his thoughts on Diddy, the city of Harlem, and more.

With Vinny Cha$e’s deep appreciation for his city of Harlem, it should come as no surprise that Hip Hop entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs is one of several artists the young spitter looks up to.

“I mean to me he’s an idol because like not only because of the stuff he did with Big is that he started in the game young just like us,” Vinny explained. “And a lot of people told him he couldn’t do this and he couldn’t do that…It’s like he made it through all of these things and it’s like through the whole way he kept reppin’ Harlem and he put Harlem in such a special place by putting other people like Mase on.”

Vinny also shared the details of one of his favorite “Puff memories,” which included the purchase of the rapper’s Puff Daddy & The Bad Boy Family album.

“The first CD I bought was Puff Daddy & The Bad Boy Family…It was like a sepia tone cover. That was my first joint. It’s funny to be dealing with dudes like that now. It’s pretty ill,” said the rapper.

    1. Is Vinny Cha$e any good?? I’ve heard a couple of songs but he sounds too much like A$ap to me.

    2. OK CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE WHAT THEY’VE DONE TO DESERVE $2.4 MILL???

ALSO, ARE WE FACING THE NEW HARLEM RENAISSANCE??? ALL OF A SUDDEN I HEAR A BUNCHA NIGGAZ FROM HARLEM AGAIN

      1. Look man, when you hear about rappers/artists getting millions for a record advance, keep in mind that they have to pay it back. So it is basically a loan. These major record labels are trying to stay afloat now and so they are willing to shell out money for artists who already have an established fanbase like Vinny, so they dont have to spend money on artist development. Dont trip when you see someone got signed for millions when in reality its a loan that the artist has to pay back regardless. Plus Vinny has a team that produces and shoots videos for him which is alot cheaper than spending money on a big budget crew.

    3. Not being a hater but Epic Records made an epic mistake signing this guy. The $2.5 million loan they gave this guy will never be seen again because I don’t see him making a huge impact
