The fight between Chris Brown and Frank Ocean started with a punch, according to an eyewitness. While sources close to Brown originally denied this, an eyewitness is now saying that Brown threw the first punch in the fight.

According to the eyewitness, Ocean refused to shake Brown’s hand. TMZ is reporting that Ocean “simply laughed at the gesture.” The witness says this angered Brown and that he punched Ocean, which resulted in a brawl between both camps.

Their brawl apparently moved into the lobby, where the camps continued their fight.

“They managed to break almost everything in the room and scare all of the staff members working,” the witness shared.

The updated report notes that the receptionist called the police and that Brown left the scene. Ocean, however, spoke to police when they arrived. A new update from TMZ reports that Chris Brown has already reached out to law enforcement to discuss his side of the altercation.

Initial reports also indicated that the fight may have started over a parking spot. According to TMZ, bigger artists usually take the best spots in the Westlake Studios lot. Ocean reportedly took the spot Brown wanted.
