Juelz Santana Says Lil Wayne Will Executive Produce His Album

Though it’s unclear when, if ever, Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana’s I Can’t Feel My Face will be released, the two emcees will be working together in another capacity.

In an interview with MTV’s RapFix Live, the New York emcee revealed that Wayne will be executive producing his album.

“I went out to Miami to chop it up with Wayne. I actually asked him to executive produce my album, Born to Lose, [Bult to Win],” said Juelz.

Despite the gravity of the move, Juelz didn’t make a big deal out of the situation: “It’s big to me, and it’s a beautiful thing, but Wayne is like my brother. So I knew once I asked him to do it… I’m sure if I woulda went to Cash Money, I coulda went to Cash Money, but that wasn’t… The best thing to do is to reach out to him and figure out how we can still make it the best thing possible, and I figured ask him to executive produce my album would be a great thing. He agreed to it, so that’s gonna be coming up [soon].”

    1. first this album was supposd 2 drop years ago hasnt even sniffed a single yet.. and now lil wayne producing??!?!?! expect it to be fucked up severely lil the new wayne music

    2. I don’t necessarily find Juelz and the Diplomats purely awesome, but their music was, at least, pretty decent when the Heatmakerz were producing most of their songs. Since then, they pretty much fell off. And now, Juelz is assigning Lil Wayne to executive produce his next album?? smh…

    3. Dipset fell off when they got rid of HEATMAKERZ. at least they were rappin some nonsense on HOT BEATS. now its just nonsense

    4. He was blaming Cam’Ron for holding up his album, but after Cam sold his contract to Def Jam for $2 million, he still didn’t drop an album. It’s a shame when established artists don’t own their own labels.

    5. Juelz Santana is that artist you had hopes for that just didn’t come into fruition. He’s been in the game since around 99’and we are closing in on another year, and as a fan I feel like his potential hasn’t been solidified. I respect any artist who can sell and like him he’s sold millions, but quality over quantity he hasn’t left me with much replay value or much classic material.

With the way Hip Hop is now in 2012/’13 and his almost DECADE long absence his really going to need to do something innovative and unique to really to him up to where his friends was were in their heyday (Cam’Ron, Mase, and even Lil Wayne). Judging by his new shit, I’m very disappoint in his lack of interest (for whatever) reason in this thing called Hip Hop.

    6. And having Lil Wayne Executive Produce your album means what again??? Last time I checked, Wayne hasn’t dopped a hot, press play and walk away album since the lyrical monster ‘THE CARTER 2’. Juelz needs to call up the Heatmakerz, tell him he wants ONLY THEIR BEATS that best represent the NYC sound but in a contemporary way,

    7. Juelz fail off!!!! big time, dude didnt drop a album since 2005 , I was in High School, SMH now he running to Lil Wayne??? SMH and he got fat, so much Fucking Potential when he came out

    8. If Weezy is producing it you know for a FACT that it will be a FAR BETTER album than that overrated trash called Good Kid M.a.a.d City by KenDICK LAME-ar.

      1. tru shit, that shit was wack as fuck, 2Chains album was better than kendricks, aint nobody got time for big words movin too fast

      2. you’re both either trolls or two niggas who put their index finger under every word they read

yes, I used that line from Katt Williams

    9. God damn!!!! ‘What The Game’s Been Missing!’ was a dope album, probably the best non-Cam’Ron Dipset album. But, seriously Juelz when is this going to come out? You really f’d that up!

    10. What would Wayne even do? Sit in the corner and nod his head? this is the guy who put out a soft rock love album lol

    11. His image was ruined once he got that chick, who already had a kid for another dude pregnant twice. On top of that, Fab and Ray J had sex with her….lol

      1. laron james smokes too much weed to be any type of smart…and wheres the music ive heard one track from him in almost 2 years

    12. Lil Wayne is already da best rapper alive and he will be da best producer alive too. da true king of hip hop. YMCMB all day err day. swag

    13. Why not give the shit a chance to actually come to fruition before you start bashing it? Wake up on my dick, eat some breakfast first. Damn.

      1. cuz he was supposed to come out with this back in 2008… since then hes done like 5 tracks n has no buzz at all cuz everyone forgot about him
dipsets done they had a good run but theyre all too inconsistent nowadays where people forget about u even tho u dropped a mixtape last month…

    14. Julie Santana is a joke. Looking for a buzz by getting Little Cum Stain Whoopy Goldberg Wayne involved in the turd he wants to drop.

    15. you both are wack quit rap or take that bullshit bandana off your head.start there take that shit off fam it looks straight fag!
