Even though fans are patiently waiting for the third installment of Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… series in 2014, it looks like the Chef if cooking up something to appease them in the meantime. Now, the Wu-Gambino has taken to Twitter to reveal he’s planning to drop an EP.
In a recent Twitter post from earlier today, the Staten Island emcee announced that he’s planning an dropping an EP titled Lost Jewlry. Shallah Raekwon also promised fans he would be Tweeting a new album title, although he did not specify whether the album would be a solo project or not.

People only like CL2 because of the name. The first is a classic, so people automatically have a bias in favor of CL2. Shaolin vs Wu-Tang had one bad song (Rock n Roll) but the rest of the album had classic vibes as well as a fresh, sound that Rae should expand upon.
Though they might be biased because of the name there is little doubt that 2 his second best album.
Both albums were tight im goin wit cuban linx 2 though, both were still bangers from beginning to end

Wu’s debut was ground breaking in my eyes and all their solo debut joints were pretty dope and then basically the wu and everyone in the group started going downhill from then on because all the stuff they came fresh with was the best and none of them could really top themselves. I agree Ghostface is the only one with a pretty solid catalogue, everyone else has their couple of tight releases and their not so tight releases… Ghostface just has a steady load of alright albums, some better than others… I guess each Wu member appeals to a certain ear though, it all depends who you’re into… as a group they come together with that chemistry and make some hot shit but as solo, they all go their own direction really.
I personally have never really gotten into the later Wu stuff, their collective debut was dope, pretty much all their solo debuts were dope and from then on, everything they did as a group or solo was of a high standard but I think the Wu name itself is what really sold them and their debut being so good is what gave them such a good name and I think nobody really wants to badmouth the Wu because of how good their name is but in all honesty they kinda fell apart at the seams as soon as they ran out of original dope and had to try to continue to make music as good but none the less there are a few gems amongst the dozens of releases they’ve made. They just get harder top find the later into their careers you look.
