A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Angel Haze & Childish Gambino BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher

Joey Bada$$, Angel Haze, A$AP Rocky, Childish Gambino and Driicky Graham held it down on one of the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards cyphers.

RZA manned the turntables for the up-and-comers cypher. Angel Haze, rocking sunglasses and an exposed midriff, pulling off her shades halfway through the verse. Joey Bada$ backed his skills with a sharp freestyle, rocking a baseball tee and cap before he passed it to Driicky Graham, who claimed that “I am the best.”

Childish Gambino, a/k/a Donald Glover, did his thing on the mic before A$AP Rocky ripped through a fast-toungued rap, showing off his Supreme sweatshirt and rapping, “I’ma hit ’em with the gospel” and “My first four words were ‘Fuck you, pay me.'”

    1. I didnt like Gambino’s verse that much. Joey was ill. Angel Haze was ill, oddly enough Driicky was dope, and ASAP was dope. This year had some pretty weak cyphers but this one prolly the best one.

    2. A$$WIPE is dogshit even in this no-standards company… Sucking white Sony cock still can buy you attention though, it seems.

    3. All the cyphers this year were pretty good. No complaints here. A lot of trolls circulating the comments though.

    4. Angel Haze bragged when interviewed by Jack Thriller that she killed this, and killed everyone. I thought she would go off or something….I’m not impressed. If you’re going to brag like that, it better be the 16 of the century.

Driicky Graham or whatever his name is did pretty good, though. I’m impressed.

    5. Childish Gambino just spat some of the illest BARS known to man I’m disgusted ..Joey did his thing wild flow..I’m suprised ASAP was weak..Driicky had a long ass verse didnt say nothing much tho a few decent metaphors and Angel was pretty good nice flow. I think this one goes to Gambino.

    6. A$$wipe!!!

Dipshit Aesop Rock biter, will end up the next Kreayshawn, black ‘culture’ is a hell of thing 2012 ain’t it?

    7. i’m just glad that i was born in the mid-80’s – just in time to grow up listening to hip hop in the 90’s and early 2000’s. when all the legends and greats finally hang it up for good, rap will be over. yeah, some of these new kids are talented, but they are not going to be able to carry the torch that the greats pass on to them. rap may have lasted a lot longer but it will eventually go the way of disco music. sad, but that’s the truth.

      1. ^^^ are you fucking stupid or did you just not read the entire comment?

“rap may have lasted a lot longer but it will eventually go the way of disco music.”
