Kendrick Lamar “good kid, m.A.A.d city” Tracklist, Cover Art & Production Credits

After months of keeping fans waiting, Kendrick Lamar has finally revealed the tracklist for his upcoming major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, releasing October 22nd via Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope.

For the project, K. Dot enlists Jay Rock, Drake, MC Eiht, Anna Wise and Dr. Dre, the latter of which appears on the closing track “Compton.” The tracklist follows the similar pattern of naming tracks off of specific people like opener “Sherane a.k.a. Master Splinter’s Daughter,” and touts an extended version of lead single “Swimming Pools (Drank).” Oddly, the deluxe edition includes the original version of the track as well.

Pre-order the album on iTunes, and check the good kid, m.A.A.d city tracklist below.

    1. the dude below me is right, cuz where’s The recipe? and cartoons and cereal? unless those are on the deluxe version and this is just the standard version.

    2. *Bonus Tracks
      13. The Recipe
      14. Black Boy Fly
      15. Now Or Never
      16. Collect Calls
      17. Swimming Pool (Drank)

    3. are you guys all stupid…?
      this is different
      check out the itunes one
      it’s this one

the leaked one had like lady gaga

    4. It’s not fake. It’s on iTunes for preorder. Exact same list. And the track “Compton” can already be purchased. Looks like a great list, but you never know. Sing about me, I’m dying of thirst is 12 minutes long though.

      1. co-sign. “compton” is a sick little song produced by just blaze. They must have scratched the gaga song. Interesting. From what ive been reading on reviews of the album listening jam(s), the album will be incredible. Production is supposedly off the chain.

      1. bumping it right now! so nice! got dre back sounded nice!!!

I got so much faith in Kendrick and this album!

Not purchased an album in years because well……..its all been hit and miss!

this gonna get a purchase! no doubt!

    5. wouldnt it be fuckin nice to get an album without bonus tracks? Let me guess….album will have like 8 good songs and then 6 average ones….sound famiiar? Every album that gets put out today! Fuck labls

    6. I think Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe is supposed to be featuring Gaga, if it’s legit and the featuring is ambiguous, there’s probably just light Gaga vocals or some shit

    7. From HipHop N More’s listening preview a few weeks ago:

“Kendrick introduced this record as his much talked about Lady Gaga collaboration. Neither the title nor the producer were mentioned. The beat on this comes in real smooth as Kendrick follows with his usual catchy vocal effect. This record has a Cali feel and we see it as potential single material. K.Dot repeatedly recites B*tch dont kill my vibe which will likely to get stuck in listeners heads. Gaga on the hook is not what youd normally hear on her Pop songs so fans should be excited to hear the final product. Her sound flowed really well with Kendricks killer verses and harmonizing. This is for sure to be a highlight on good kid, m.A.A.d city.”

So yeah, Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe is the Lady Gaga feature.

    8. After “The Recipe”, “Compton” seems a tad bit redundant. Don’t think The Recipe charted too well don’t see this one doing so either. He should of went with the more broader appealing song as it sounds like would of been the Gaga featured one from a previous post.

      1. Listen this will sell 150,000 first week no matter what….people dont seem to get that the poeple that are gonna buy these guys albums buy them. Like Kanye changing his style to fit the trap movement? Kanye would sell 3 to 400,000 first wek no matter what he doe. THe people that are gonna spend money on these rappers will o it o matter what.

      2. ^Yeah but why settle for that isn’t the goal to sell as many units as possible/appeal to as many people as possible. Who outside of compton is gonna feel that? You’re selling records to the world not just Cali.

    9. to Anonymus….I just dont htink it would change the sales much….Real hip hop heads arethe only ones buying this album. There arent many rap fans left in the country; most I know gave up on the industry the last few years. However, almost everyone I knwo that still likes rap will be buying this album; as they believe its our only chance for a front to back. Thats why I said that….I just dont think youll get some kid who likes wayne or 2 chainz to buy it based on a diff single gettin released

      1. You’re*. And no, I’m not joking. Black Hippy & Big Krit helped save hip-hop’s direction in today’s world. Now go back to listening to your underground music you fucking hipster tool. Mad at the mainstream because you’re too unique and different, aren’t you faggot. Sorry for interrupting your Brother Ali listening session.

      2. wow, you didnt have to go crazy on me, yes I would rather listen to undergroun hip hop but to say that kendrick alone saved hip hop is down right pathetic.Oh and i do listen to a bit of mainstream as i dont mind T.I. or Big Krit playing on rotation and as for helping hip hop move in the right direction lamar isnt the only rapper have you ever heard of killer mike if not check him out much better then kendrick.

    10. Obviously DX doesnt buy albums on iTunes… usually on Deluxe versions, they add videos of the single…. That would explain why Swimming Pools appears in the bonus tracks… it’s the video!

      1. It’s the original.
There’s an extended on the standard. That’ll probably have an outro or skit or another verse or something.

    11. Ab-Soul > Kendrick Lamar > Big Krit

      J Cole & Slaughterhouse = Most Overrated

Joey Bada$$, Tito Lopez, I see you

    12. Control System > Section 80 > Live From The Underground

Cole Word & Welcome To Our House = mainstream sellout garbage.

Big Krit stayed true to his craft with his major label debut and so will Kendrick.

    13. uhm, i know i’m not the only one wondering..where the fuck is AB-SOUL? how is he not featured? people say this tracklist is fake and i hope it is cause i aint gone be happy if AB aint featured. that is all.

      1. I kind of like the fact he hasn’t put Soul and Q on there just because they are homies, I would rather no Soul verse than one thrown on for the sake of it.

      2. I would’ve loved a whole Black Hippy track in the “Deluxe”version they could’ve easily done that and made it sound natural, although by not doing that it just makes me more hungry for more Black Hippy tracks.

      3. There probably is.
They don’t always credit each other fully.
They might just do bridges or adlibs. Like how Kendrick isn’t credited on Hell Yeah and Q isn’t on Bout That.

    14. WACK HIPPY IS A JOKE. ONLY 12 TRACKS LIKE THAT B.A.D. MUSIC COMPILATIONS THAT WAS RELEASED A FEW WEEKS AGO.

      SUPPORT REAL HIP-HOP LIKE:

    15. I never comment!!!!!!!!!! This is the first time!

I just heard the 1:30 long snippets on iTunes. this shit is b

This album is an instant classic. Words cant describe this album.

      1. It’s not really advise, it’s basically telling the dumbfuck who made the comment to get grown and shut the fuck up!

    17. I had so much hope for this album, but now i don’t so much, first off having a fag rapper like fake i mean drake on there for a start is laughable – and only on there so kendrick can get more radioplay in the charts with that collabo and also looking at this tracklist you’d be mistaken for thinking it was a mixtape as opposed to an album as well as that vile gaga on there as well – not as hopeful as i was before this was released

      1. LMAO “roachd” your opinion is a joke and flawed in so many ways.

Let me ask you what tracklist & features would you’ve liked to have seen??? IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT TRACKLIST & FEATURES YOU WOULD’VE LIKED TO HAVE SEEN!!! It’s Kendrick Lamar’s album NOT yours.

    18. everyone has an opinion bt you kno what you can do wit dem …
k dot , j cole , drake , k.r.i.t all make dope music they tell there story so wether you can relate or not is on you, jus coz u aint feeling dem dont mean they music dont go….that is all

      1. Because Kendrick was on Drake’s album, it’s common courtesy for artists to do guest spots on each others back to back albums. Not very surprising. Hopefully it gives Kendrick a lot of radio play.

      2. Why do people think as soon as it’s Drake it’s gonna be a radio song? Not every song he does sounds like it should be on the radio and he’s not popular enough for it to be like “Oh it’s Drake so it’s got to be on the radio”…

      3. because drake is the best rapper out now and that song will be the best on the cd…and prob make it sell like 10k more

      4. Everybody should really calm down with the Drake hate. He’s probably just gonna do the chorus and maybe 1 verse

      5. lol maybe him and drake are friends and colleagues that respect each others craft and enjoy making music together, is that a possibility?

    19. No Ab-Soul and no Q ? Damn… I’m disappointed by this tracklist, but I hope the album will still be great. Can’t wait for the MC Eiht collaboration though !

    20. Dude continues to drop uninspiring music for the people he is now targeting which is the mainstream. Every song is about his irrelevant coast or city. King Kendrick huh, lmao. You are not strong enough to bring the west coast back little overrated fuck. You are just Nas #2. Trying to be half street and half lyrical and are neither one. Just a little overrated fuck that your stans and only your stans will end up giving a fuck about.

    21. Every “hip-hop head” thinks an artist is the realist ever until his album drops. Then hes wack and mainstream

    22. fuck Kednrick Lame-ar. deze pop rappers are killin hip hop. weak MCs like K-Dot wanna destroy Lil Wayne’s creativity and innovation in music and hip hop culture. fuck TDE! fuck Aftermath. fuck Dr Gay. Lil Wayne and YMCMB all day err day. swag

    23. Can’t wait for this shit but seriously man?? FIVE fucking extra tracks on the deluxe version??? One or two tracks is fine but FIVE?? It’s like you only get half an album if you buy the regular version. These bastards are basically forcing me to spend more to get the deluxe version.

      1. Nobody is forcing you to buy the album at all LOL. Just buy the regular one, and then download the bonus tracks.

      1. Theres a song on there, I think its the Dying of Thirst portion of Sing About Me, like 6-7 features. I think its Q, Punch, Soul and a few other guys.

    24. Looking forward to this….on another subject, can you trolls start to use WORDS that exist when you leave comments? Gibberish isn’t cool. Props to So Icy…at least I can read how stupid he is!

    25. No lil wayne
      no rick rozay
      no cheif keef
      no chris brown
      no nikki manaj
      no future
      no ace hood….

Thas what the FUCK im talkin bout!!!
Its a song with drake, but hopefully it dont sound like a drake song if u kno what i mean.

Looking like a pretty solid album. wish it woulda had a J.cole feature tho.

Oh well, im coppin this shit day one.

GO BUY THIS AND SUPPORT A REAL ARTIST THAT MAKES REAL HIP HOP!

      1. he’s under Interscope now. fuck you thought was gonna happen

all he has is Drake and Dr. Dre on there, it could’ve been a lot worse… cause he reportedly has more than one song recorded with Lady Gaga.

    26. one fuckin Drake verse(at most) is what you’ll have to stomach for this LP. quit catchin feelings you hipsters

    27. Everyone who slated j. Cole for putting drake on his album for sales can suck a fat one. Even kendick lamar has a drake feature on his debut lp. Rip hiphop

    28. sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst is 12 fucking minutes long! this shit must have schoolboy q and ab-soul…

    29. If you guys already forgot, Kendrick had the best verse and song on Drake’s entire album…so a song with Drake won’t be that bad. Let’s hope he stepped up his game for this feature. This won’t be any Take Care shit.

    30. lol wait….. wheres the lady gaga track? kendrick got away from having to release that?? damn
wheres cartoons and cereal that was a dope song…. and why the recipe a bonus? its his biggest song haha

    31. Seems to me that this is calculated by kendrick lamar. this is exactly what he wanted his debut album to be. Mad respect for not selling out to Lady Gaga. And to everyone complaining about how some songs are or arent on the album or that some are bonuses and some arent. You will hear the lady gaga song eventually and you already heard cartoons and cereal and the recipe so why does it matter if its on here or not? this is carfully crafted as a theme peice and he obviously only put things in the album that fit his theme. he didnt sell out. good for him

    32. lol, Dr. Dre couldn’t even be bothered to produce 1 track of his label’s new act debut record??

Dude is worthless in 2012 musically

      1. No obviously not, and I’m seriously disappointed to see that, I thought Lamar was going to be like a new hot aftermath artist, who was going to make some great west coast shit :/

      2. he doesn’t have to have dre’s beats to be successful, honestly dre’s beats don’t even fit him, because his beats in the past have been more soulful with a hint of jazz. Why would kendrick want to lose his core fanbase

    33. I’m very disappointed that there is no Q or Soul feature but at least K Dot didnt sell out like SLAUGHTER HOUSE! This boy seems like he’s trying to stay in tune with his core audiences as much as possible…similar to Big Krit and I think that really takes ballz and heart. Big up to the man for that. I think the album is going to be hot… If you don’t like Drake skip that song… I know I am. Drake has a fucking annoying voice that just makes me want to bang my head in the wall and fucking around and start sounding retarded like Gucci Mane. SMH. That’s why I don’t listen to Drake.

    34. Remember he has another album comming very soon which is a collaboration with J.cole, looking forward to that as well.

    35. Fucking Drake as a feature, what a waste of a song. Fucking interscope ruining all the last great rappers left in the game with gay features like lil wayne and Drake. If I liked that faggot rap I wouldn’t know who kendrick lamar was.

Interscope killed Yellawolf with that mainstream BS, Interscope killed Slaughterhouse with that mainstream BS and now I’m praying that this CD will only have one of those gay mainstream songs on it. Gonna have to bootleg it first to see if I like it before buying.

      1. Ain’t that the truth. Interscope went from the best label after early 90s Death Row to a crappy label destroyed by Jimmy Iovine. Its not pirating music thats destroying sales in hiphop. Its the labels forcing artists to go pop. 8 years ago I’d watch MTV Base and it would be classic hiphop after classic. Now its dance tracks with rapping, dubstep with rapping, rappers singing. Oprah got what she wanted.

    36. HEY AT LEAST THEY THREW OUT THAT WACKSHIT WITH LADYGAGA. YEAH IT PROBABLY WOULD HELP ALBUM SALES BUT FUCK DAT!! I DONT WANNA HEAR DAT SHIT!.. AND WHERE THE FUCK IS THE DRE BEATS IN THIS ALBUM…MMMAAANN FUCK DRE! HE DONT CARE BOUT NO FANS! FUCK HIM!! ON A GOOD NOTE…GOOOD LOOKIN WITH THOSE SCOOP DEVILLE TRACKS THEIR DOPE!!

    37. For everyone criticising the inclusion of Drake and the decision to even record with Lady Gaga, haven’t Jay-Z, Kanye etc. shown that hip-hop can, should, and needs to, diversify the sorts of artists who do it, and the sorts of artists they get for collaborations. As far as I’m concerned – Kendrick ft. Gaga – dope. Jay-Z ft. Rihanna – dope. I just wanna hear Drake ft. Justin Timberlake, Eminem ft. Katy Perry and Kanye ft. Adele

      1. the only one I can’t see working is Eminem/Katy Perry… or indeed Eminem with any pop star (the songs with Pink and Bruno Mars were corny as hell). Jay-Z and Rihanna have at least 3 songs together. Kendrick and Gaga, obviously, have recorded several songs together. Drake and JT would compliment each other very well. Kanye and Adele would be dope.

      2. Shouldn’t you be on a corner giving blowjobs for crack.

All those collabs sound whack and its exactly whats wrong with hiphop. Its why someone like me that bought over 300 rap albums since the 90s bootlegs most albums now and only buys the good ones which is about 2 a year now. I don’t want to hear pink, rihanna, Gaga, Cee loo, lil wayne, drake and all that faggot music on a CD. That shits for females. I want the attitude, punchlines, Similes, metaphors and story telling that hip hop is.

    38. stop complaining about Dre not producing a single track on the album, he’s just being honest not putting his same on somebody else’s work like he did so many times

      1. WORD. Plus Dre ain’t produced much of value in the past few years anyway. I’m more concerned about that Pharrell track…dude is really hit or miss for me…usually miss.

    39. ok … im seeing some irrelevant features but no Ab-Soul, Jay Rock or Q .. can somebody point them out on the list ?

    40. Dre is still doing what he does best on this album and that is Executive Produce. snippets from this album sound INCREDIBLE!! can’t wait. I bet Dre will be mixing tracks as well.

    41. lol this dude won lyricist of the year with no album please album dosent even rep him this some industry mad up bs dont even have a tde track they think that dre cosign gonna sell recoreds please his music is universal and he ‘s lyrics dont transcende barriers i see maybe 75 k 1st week

      1. agreed. pretty reminiscent of Canibus, actually…acclaimed lyricist murders every feature and mixtape for 2 years…hopefully this cat doesn’t know wyclef and has a decent debut

      2. Okay, you are a perfect example, stone diggy. You are criticizing Kendrick because he won lyricist of the year without even putting an album out yet this year. Hmm, did you ever think that maybe he won because he is just that good and he is the best despite his album having not dropped yet? Secondly, you are b*tching like a little girl about how their isn’t even a full TDE track on the album…did you ever think that maybe Kendrick didn’t feel like it fit well enough with the concept that he is trying to convey? I mean after all, it’s HIS album, not yours right? Finally, we live in the 21st century, learn how to speak proper english and how to type if you’re gonna whine and b*tch.

    42. For all you haters that are b*tching and whining about how you aren’t satisfied with the tracklist or whatever it is that you feel the need to complain about, Kendrick created the tracklist for the album specifically for what HE wants it to sound like, for what picture HE wants to pain for his audience. What’s not included is not included because HE felt like it shouldn’t be. What is included is included because HE felt like it should be. So stop hating and whining all the time about how their is always something you haters are not satisfied about. Instead, you should appreciate the great work that this artist (one of the best out there right now) is giving you. Now that is real talk.

    43. I personally think he did a good job with his features. He didst over due it on the features, which is great. Not having School boy Q and Ab-soul on the album is no biggie. I think having Drake on the album is a good look. Drake had Kendrick Lamar on the Take care album which was a really good look for Kendrick. My problem comes with the production credits. I see he has Sounwave and Terrance Martin on a couple tracks producing. However he does not have THC,Taebeast,Willie B, nor Tommy black on here. Just blaze, Hit-boy,Pharrel are big name producers. However I don’t think he should of put those guys on this album though. I would of kept it all In-house with the guys he came up with. At the end of the day I’m still excited for this alum! Oct 22 go cop it and support good music.

    44. I dont usually but albums but I am buying this shit. This will be like the same thing that happened to J Cole. Everyone will doubt it then it will go gold first week cause his fans are real fans and will buy his shit. Watch

    45. I’m really gonna try hard NOT to listen to the leak (when it does) and just buy it without listening to it first… I know that the album will be what I expect because Kendrick hasn’t let us (his fans) down YET!

      1. Yo I feel you, this will be the first album since Live From The Underground that I won’t listen to until it’s actually out in stores. So tempting to listen to leaks but with certain artists I just can’t, I have to go out and support. Kendrick is one of those artists for sure

    46. If any artist can create a classic album out of their first major label, it is Lamar. Not saying it will be a classic but Lamar has that potential. No other young artist has this potential except for maybe J Cole but Cole failed to produce a “classic” album with Sideline Story.

    47. I’m so excited, there’s really nothing negative I can say about this album so far: Great Album Art, Great features, Great production

      1. always one fucking idiot with the “buy it” comment well guess what I’ve had the deluxe edition pre-ordered on Amazon. Doesn’t make me a cheap asshole just because I want to hear the music as early as possible.

      2. firealarm is right…it’s quite okay to download it ahead of time as long as you are still supporting the artist and buying the album as well.

      3. studies show people who pirate music also buy 30% more music than their peers who do not use file-sharing so it suggests pirates aren’t all thieves but the bigger music fans.

      1. Black Boy Fly (Prod. By Rahki & Dawaun Parker)

Its not dre but those are dre producers. So I’m preety sure its going to sound like a dre beat. Just like kush. It was producer by Dj khalil but it sounded like dre.

    48. the KENDRICK/J COLE collabo as to happen

      countdown to KENDRICK!…..HAPPY KENDRICK MONTH!

this ALBUM is going to ring IN 2013!!!!

    49. tracklist isnt up to kendrick. It is absolutely disgusting and strange that Dre doesnt have one song on here. Either he has completely lost it or there is something strange going on. Labels ruin rap. They dont know what hte consumer wants. They dont realize that whatever they push will sell; but only the music that is actually good will have sustainability. They are making a mistake by dumbing down rap to what it has become….they are and will feel the damages

      1. You’re entirely entitled to your opinion my friend but it sure sounds like you are judging the quality of this album based on the titles and producers of the songs, rather than listening to it all the way through first and then judging it. Don’t judge a book by its cover, cmon.

      2. Well I heard the snippets and the production doesnt sound great. It is not commercialized but not great. In todays rap its always one end of the spectrum. Either you have underground type of production or you have the way too over the top or a weird mix. Classic albums like Black Album, College Dropout, The documentary, etc., have classic production on every song. There is a sound that remains throughout. You dont hear that on albums anymore with the exception of Big Boi’s which was I think two years ago now I think.

      3. evryone wanted to hear dre production behind this cat…thats how all the snoops eminems n games got big those dope ass beats…its sad that he dont have any production on it

      4. I mean I do agree with you on your last comment jerryc. It is tough to find an album these days with a consistent sound throughout such as the albums you listed as well as many others I can think of. I have heard some of the beats on this album and the ones that I have heard, I think are pretty dope but we’ll just have to wait and see I guess.

    50. THE GAME CAME OUT BETTER WITH HIS FIRST ALBUM DOCUMENTARY THAN KENDRIK LAMAR,KDOTS ALBUM IS NOT GONNA BRING WEST COAST BACK NO DRE MOTIVATION

      1. Who gives a FCK about bringing West Coast back???! It’s about the music and the album as a whole not which coast it represents. I guarentee you Kendrick is more concerned about giving his fans the best possible product rather than which coast likes it better. Wake up dude.

    51. I heard the snippets and the production doesnt sound great. It is not commercialized but not great. In todays rap its always one end of the spectrum. Either you have underground type of production or you have the way too over the top or a weird mix. Classic albums like Black Album, College Dropout, The documentary, etc., have classic production on every song. There is a sound that remains throughout. You dont hear that on albums anymore with the exception of Big Boi’s which was I think two years ago now I think

      1. The Documentry a classic!? Damn I thought only Game thought that! Also Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty was extremely diverse.

      2. are you questioning if the documentary is a classic for real? Right now name a song this year that is better than any of these:
        1. Church for Thugs
        2. Dreams
        3. This is how we do
        4. Westside Story
        5. Put you on the game
        6. The documentary
        7. We aint
        8. Hate it or love it

The others are damn good too but seriously name one song that you would consider better than those. Maybe youll come up with one thats even on their level but all 8 on the same cd?

Also its about a sound. Son of Chico dusty has a funky sound throughout. It flows. Contrast that with the cds of today that are mish mosh and have like 5 commercial sounding beats mixed in randomly and has no flow.

    52. EVERY STUPID INTERVIEW WITH KENDRICK TALKING ABOUT USING THE SAME PRODUCERS HE’S ALWAYS USED IS NULL AND VOID LOL.

I knew it wouldn’t be the case with a major label debut. And even Kendrick said it wouldn’t sound like Section 80. One problem: The sound of Section 80 is what made me a fan.

    53. damn yall some hatin ass dudes man. Weezy been killin the game since his cash money days. Look how much he’s done for hip hop and all yall do is hate. He’s given us classics, and I agree his recent stuff doesn’t top Carter 1 and 2, but you can’t deny he’s top 5 right now(top 3 actually).

So many other wack rappers and yall choose to hate on Weezy. I bet yall them lame ass “real hip hop” fans who only bump Common(who sucks) and fuckin Mos Def. Them old ass fools don’t even sell units, plus Wayne is lyrically shitting on them. Carter 2 still the best rap album of 2000 era. Fuck anyone who says any different(and Carter III is shitting on the majority of whats coming out today, including yall lame as opinions)

      1. ….. All of Wayne’s new music is fucking GARBAGE! I won’t even give it the time of day. His music has no substance, it’s all just corny metaphors. He said” suck my skateboard”. Lmao get the fuck out of here with that bullshit. You can keep his shit music all to yourself buddy.

      2. LIKE SOMEONE SAID UP THERE

DO WHATEVA U DO LISTENIN 2 UR WAYNE/YMCMB WHATEVA WHOEVER LISTEN TIL UR INNER COCHLEAS BLEED

        IT’S WHEN U TRY 2 SH!T ON OTHER PEOPLE’S PREFERENCES IS WHEN U GET SH!TTED ON

U OPINION IS LAMER THAN THEM RESPONSES ‘CAUSE U TRYNA RECRUIT N!GGAS 2 UR THINKIN

        B A MAN INSTEAD OF A FCUKBOI & CUT ALLADAT BULLSH!T OUT

    54. SUPPORT REAL HIPHOP YOU FOOLS, AND GRAB A COPY OF MY CLASSIC ALBUM THATS ALREADY SOLD 2MIL!!!!

      #RED ALBUM

    55. are you questioning if the documentary is a classic for real? Right now name a song this year that is better than any of these:
      1. Church for Thugs
      2. Dreams
      3. This is how we do
      4. Westside Story

And I am not a game lover or anything. I thought Red was just like the albums I speak of today…up and down, choppy, and no consistent feel. Just used it as an example. Blueprint, college dropout, late registration, 2001, documentary, get rich or die trying, aquemeni, etc., these had a feel to them and production was amazing on all of them

      1. And Doctors advocate was 10 times better than the documentary.

        Ol English
        One Blood
        Doctors advocate
        Da shit
        Sceamin on em
        compton
        Remedy
        lookin at you
        lets ride

Doctors advocate is another classic but games fallen off a bit. LAX and RED were just ok.

    56. I wish to whoever hates on this shit. Kendrick is a legend. He’s the best rapper that ever lived and he’s also the most handsome. I could sit on his cock forever. You haters need to start douching, scared of revolution ass niggas.

    57. people just need to except the fact that wayne is one of the best rappers ever da droughts dedications no ceilings carter 1+2 old wayne i mean back when his analogies were good and thought out if u say u diddnt like any that ur lying to yourself

      1. If you like Wayne, cool. Do you, enjoy. It’s when you weird people try to make it out to be like if you don’t like him then you’re a pus laden leper that should be exiled from humanity.

Believe it or not, a lot of people on this planet don’t like him. You mad? Here’s a better one, they don’t even know who he is. Listen to what YOU like and stop worrying about who likes whom or what.

    58. niggas call wayne a pop star.. like no ceilings was pop? sorry4the wait was pop? lil wayne is pop when he shows up on every kids bob, and i don’t think his lyrics gonna make the disney channel cut. it sounds cute when y’all say it.. but it doesn’t make sense.. wayne is no where near pop.

      1. pop as an weak soft artist. he makes hits and “jams” but its not the real hip hop that thrives in cyphers. kendrick lamar, eminem slaughterhouse real hip hop

    59. niggas seem to hate on lil wayne every chance he get. This man been on top for atleast 6 years now. He is not a hot at the moment rapper this man been doing this. Stop hating punk ass niggas and give credit when credit is do. The lil nigga is a beast and have longevity. The man started out with the hotboys at 14 and still running shit at 29 years old.

    60. waynes’s going to be remembered as the next pac. How can you not award him that right. Look how much he has done for hip hop. Hip Hop album says have been on slow decline, yet Wayne has been the small breath of air keeping it alive and bringing in money by bringing in ATTENTION.

Attention is what keeps music or anything else alive. He branches out and does other things than music. He features on other artists of different genres albums. Pac would be proud of Wayne if he were still alive and I even believe he would agree to sign to Young Money records and help Wayne build even bigger empire.

If Wayne were to die, he WOULD become the same vessel of icon as Pac was and still is to this day. Look how many people bite Waynes style same as they did pac(Nas, Ja Rule). Yall know its true but are just to afraid to admit it.

      1. I listen to both Nas and Weezy. But Nas bit wayne? Not even.

I doubt Nas gona do a lollipop track. And I doubt Lil wayne would ever drop a lyrical gem like Take it in blood.

    61. Never been as excited as everybody else when it comes to Kendrick Lamar…but I’d rather it be him in the spotlight than another wack south rapper

      1. And you’re point in comparing these two is….? Their both nice so who gives a fuck. And on some real shit, Kendrick’s gotten way more “hype” then J. Cole, so you ain’t really saying shit. Just enjoy them both and STFU

      1. Bitch that’s how we do it on HHDX if you can’t handle then get the shit outta here and recognize don’t be crying like “y’all niggas too recless” we ain’t finna hear that shit goddamnit

    62. Doubt this will be better quality than Control System, but it’ll be way better quality than whatever meek mill, 2 chainz, or future puttin out. I might just buy it instead of downloadin

    63. very impressed with this album loved almost every track ima b bumpin this for a hot min!! wish KRITs major lable debute was as good as kendricks!!!! thanks K.dot for saving hip hop in 2012 nonly negetive is no ab soule or Q on the record just hope the WU do one more then ill be ecstatic

    64. Where’s Q? And Ab-Soul? IMO those 2 are the better half of Black Hippy. Don’t kill me Kendrick fans. Just what I think and like.

    65. If this does not get 5/5 from you HHDX don’t even bother reviewing it or giving it a 4/5 because it’s above that fat bastard Rick Ross’ album don’t screw him like you screwed Nas

    66. Classic album. One of Hip Hop’s best of all time, don’t agree now you will in 5 years when we see the souund transgress Hip Hop as a whole.

      1. You must obviously not know what real rap is to diss Kendrick Lamar… These fake rappers got you brainwashed… AndKendrick is one of the very few rappers that can rap without a beat. THAT IS TALENT.

    67. there i go running my mouth about kendrick being fresh and a hope for hip hops future then i check the album and see a drake appearence…. and to make matters worse drake is now featured on a album which feature mc eight a gangsta rapper i respect more than near all west coast artists (sept quik who killed him and the bay area artists who have kept it real since the 90s) drake is not worthy off being in the same sentence as mc eight let alone on the same album good going kendrick lemar i always thought ab-soul was a lot better than you any how.

    68. Damn!! Don’t nobody want to comment because of what Malone is doin. He fuckin up the program..

      Sincerely Yours
      -Malone

      1. That is a bunch of BS…. Kendrick spits real flows thst people can relate to and understand. He’s much better than some of these trashy rappaers out there. It’s a shame more people know the name 2Chainz rather than Kendrick Lamar.

      2. You can suck on kendrick’s fat juicy cock while he makes a few mil while u are crying that he sucks, but u really suck. DICK LIPS

    69. I was a big kendrick hater mainly cause my friend always sucked his dick but i really started to listen to kendrick and his one of my favorite rappers to listen
