Lil Wayne has surpassed Elvis Presley’s long-standing record for most Billboard Hot 100 hits.
Counting his feature on Game’s “Celebration,” which bows this week at No. 82, Weezy breaks the record for most Hot 100 chart visits. The YMCMB leader has scored 109 entries on the chart, while Presley only nabbed 108 between 1958 and 2003. He scored 42 hits as a lead artist, and served as a featured acts on the 67 others.
The cast of the FOX show Glee is the only act with more Hot 100 hits than Lil Wayne with 204 songs to lodge on the chart since 2009. Other artists with comparable records include James Brown (91 songs), Ray Charles (74 songs) and Aretha Franklin (73 songs).
