Kid Cudi Possibly Featured On Kendrick Lamar’s “good kid, m.A.A.d city”

Aside from the album’s newly-pushed back release date, details on Kendrick Lamar’s debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city remain pretty scarce, but during an interview with Nessa of Wild 94.9 the Compton rapper revealed that a collaboration with fellow emcee Kid Cudi may be featured on the album.

“I just recently did a Kid Cudi collabo,” Kendrick revealed. “I like Kid Cudi a lot. He got a crazy, unique [style]. I just really felt the opportunity to knock that out on this next, upcoming album.”

On top of briefly speaking on his work with Kid Cudi, the rapper also rattled down the list of artists he would love to work with in the future. Among the artists mentioned were Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, and Sade.

Aside from the collaborations he’s already knocked out and collabs that he’ll hopefully secure further down the road, Kendrick also spoke on sharing the spotlight with other artists.

“The West Coast tend to focus on one project at a time. In like a five year span. We look at one artist at a time,” said Kendrick in a video posted on Soul Culture. “I wanna kill that cause it’s so much other talent out here that deserves to be looked at. But if I’m at the forefront I’m just gonna make sure it’s refreshing and make sure I’m not only out here representing myself, but everybody else.”

good kid, m.A.A.d city will be released on October 22 via Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope.

    1. If it wasn’t for the high power movement, I’d probably still be depressed. I started smoking once I heard about high power, and ever since, my depression went away. Now it would be my dream to burn one with Kendrick Lamar lol, he probly gets high every day. I still think ‘Terrorist Threats’ is his best song. #HighPower

      1. i don’t think kendrick smokes dat good but i’m sure he got nothin to do with terrorist threats, dat’s ab-soul’s song, how can u put him on a pedestal and ignore dat, your nickname does’nt make sense just like your comment

      1. dipshit, there’s nothing wrong with Cudi, his newest song got a shit load of love on this site, you’re just a douchebag.

      2. There’s no such thing as selling out. All it is is a way for faggots like yourself to find a reason to hate on somebody.

    3. anyways…kendrick might have luck working with erykah and d’angelo…but he’s surely not gonna get a collab with sade…she hates working with other artists and she’s said that countless times
