      1. In the words of Immortal Technique, What the fuck are you in a time warp nigga??? You are gonna be an old head one day too.

      2. The actual hip hop era, when shit was natural and the talent was pure and authentic. If shit went platinum, it was by accident.

So fuck off to your pop culture!!

      3. when im an old head i wont be looking down my nose at the younger generation just because time have changed and i dont understand them.

    1. I’z ready ta fuc up erbody from V81. I’z alwayz needin dat muthaphuccin $, so if I c them c punc chump fagz Imma beet da shyt outta them.

    2. Why do they have some white ass nerds and uncle toms talkin’ bout old school hip-hop? >=[ These are not the faces of Old school hip-hop

    3. How the fuck is hov not on this list. Damn I mean I agree with some of it but no Nas, Hov, Big Daddy Kane, Tupac… I guess theyre just looking at the most raw skill… Its not all about the rhymes you old heads, You go to have good production Too.

      1. The “Yo MTV raps” era was before Jay & Nas, there talking about the late 80’s, early 90’s here, before the Big & Pac era

The time before time for all you youngins out there, lol

      2. Hov isnt a top 20 Rapper period, come back when he invents a style that everyone today uses like all of those in this have

      3. Oh I didnt catch that… Thanks dude. And umm jay is definetaly my favorite and he should be top 5 in any list

    4. Remember its “Greatest MC”… People get that confused with what they did like album sales and the impact on the genre instead of actual MC skills. We talking about how well each person puts words together and the message in their rhymes. IMO Rakim was the greatest with KRS-One a close 2nd.

      1. lyrical content has nothing to do with being an MC, Doug E Fresh is one of the greatest MCs of all time n his lyrical content is wack

MC = Technical Skills, Ability to Rock any crowd, freestyle, style versatility etc

    5. cube! amerikkkas most and death certificate shits is by faaaar the best body of work anyone on this list has made

      1. LL is 1000xs more versatile as an MC than Rakim is, it’s not even a close debate, just look at their catalogues of music LL has PROVEN he is sick with dozens upon dozens of styles Rakim hasnt

    6. Get rid of the fresh prince & ll cool j and replace them with kool g. rap & big daddy kane then we can have a more heated debate

      1. lmao @ anyone thinkin Kool G Rap is on the same level as fuckin LL COOL J, your outta your mind to say that silly shit

        LL’s catalogue>>> KGR n BDK COMBINED

if anything BDK should replace Fresh Prince but LL should 100% be in there

shit SLICK RICK>>> Kool G Rap

should of replace Chuck D and Fresh Prince with

SLICK RICK VS BIG DADDY KANE

    7. Man fuck Cube’s fanbase, that ain’t shit to me. Cube had great MC skills, and they ain’t even looking at that.
