    1. Good to hear. One of the few NYC MC that I truly feel(ASAP ROCKY,FRED THE GODSON,UNCLE MURDA). Now I have some new shit to listen to besides that wack ass Bitch Montana

    2. GOOD FOR HIM I HOPE IT WORKS OUT BUT REAL NIGGAS DONT GET ANY LOVE ANY MORE IF HE WANTS TO MAKE IT HIS GONNA HAVE TO SELL OUT AND WORK WITH ALL THE FAKES AND ACT LIKE HIS COOL WITH THEM

    3. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

How can any street rapper STILL be so STUPID to sign with ANY of Sony’s labels?! They NEVER promote ANY of their folk (far as Epic goes, just ask Nipsey Hussle)

Duck Down woulda been glad to have him…well, I guess we gotsta wait another 5 years for his album them.

      1. Duck Down can’t even promote their own artists outside of the Tri-State area.

They will always be a local label.

How are B-Real, KRS, and Black Rob doing on Duck Down? I thought so.

      2. I’ve seen Duck Down physical units and promotional items in the Midwest and Westcoast so good try with the local label.

And as for Sony/Epic, if you people truly knew anything about the business, Doug Morris is over there now at the helm of the world’s #2 label, that will see a boost in revenue due to the purchasing of EMI’s PUBLISHING catalog (they also possess the famed Sony/ATV catalog).

        Great move for Uncle M

    4. If Murda comes out first of Never it will still beat out a fraud like Jay Electronica and whatever dogshit label he’s allegedly on… Hope son had a good lawyer.

“Funny” how Murda got signed and whining fatso laugs at his own unfunny punchlines Joell Ortiz is still a ‘free agent.’

    5. Hope he saves every bit of money he gets paid. Epic ain’t gonna push him properly at all. He should have asked Ghostface Killah the business with them cats. And he’s damn sure nowhere near Ghost as far as talent and actual skill.

Glad he got a contract…but that’s not saying much.

    6. Niggas act like there doing it so big signing slave industry contracts.and murda is a street nigga so it had to be in his best interest or I don’t think he would have did that .but who knows but him.get to work on that album nigga no disrespect but its due time baby.

    7. Come on now, lets not act like he ain’t gonna be releasing more (free) mix-tapes than actual albums over the next 3 years.

      1. Mixtapes can be sponsored so it’s free for you but websites and endorsers pay the rappers. Step your business acumen up.

    8. Uncle Murda signed this to save face for dwindling career that never was. Nobody, I mean NOBODY wants to buy an artist by the name of Uncle Murda – It’s 2012, and the general public or the disenfranchised populous is smarter than this now. Killing people publicly (or being known to do so) is not appealing, or remotely interesting to where we feel a need to “support” you by *BUYING* the record. Grow up Uncle Murda. Epic gets the last laugh. Maybe they can get a ringtone out of him. I don’t ever expect an album from him. If Roc-A-Fella couldn’t Sell you – then Epic (Michael Jackson’s label btw) CAN??!? Get outta!!!

      1. I’ll give the Murda nigga a chance, that grimey shit is still more of a reality than worshiping popcultur Jay and Kanye. Atleast Murda is a nigga that won’t jump on little skinny boy trends as a full grown man and will always give you hardcore authenticity.

    9. The reason why epic signed him so they can silents him…. As long as they got him under contract, they can do whatever they want wit him as an artist and he can’t do nothing about it…. SLAVE!!!!

    10. They are paying blacks insane money to destroy their own communities, and have any chance of weaker minded people looking outside of hip hop as an occupation. Black zombies.

    11. This is a shame. Cats spend they lives chasing a measly contract to lie on record and own no copyrights trademarks patents, and teach nothing but ignorance and hypocrisy to they children. Over some little dollars that someone else owns half of. We are light years behind. They should sign applications to learn a craft or trade and teach they communitites. But you dont hear me though.

    12. And I tell you what. When these rappers get cases, they will use they raps against them, they rights are stripped, they dont own their masters or their labels, so it wont be a problem getting the material for prosecution. THINK!
