Petey Pablo may have started his year off on a bad note, but he did so with little fanfare.
Pablo, who was arrested trying to smuggle a gun through an airport, began his three-year sentence on January 4 of this year by turning himself in to a medium security federal correction institution in West Virginia, reports TMZ.
The court recommended that the rapper receive “intensive substance abuse treatment, vocational training and educational opportunities” during his prison time.
Pablo’s scheduled release date is July 17, 2014.
