Rap Release Dates: Nicki Minaj, Odd Future, K’Naan, B.o.B.

Just as Nicki Minaj drops her “Stupid Hoe” video, she drops the bomb that Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded moved to April 3rd. The album was previously slated for a Valentine’s Day release. Still mark V-Day down though for M-Phazes & DJ Rhettmatic of Beat Junkies’s Phazed Out, Sean Born’s Behind the Scale, and the OST for Soundtrack For a Revolution. Tyler, the Creator & Co. announced that March 20th is the date for OFWGKTA’s OF Tapes Vol. 2. Check out Tyler’s throwback track “Fuck This Election” which made it to #2 on our Top Singles List. In at #1 was K’Naan’s “Nothing To Lose” featuring Nas. That song will appear on K’Naan’s upcoming EP More Beautiful Than Silence dropping January 31st. Remember B.o.B.’s track “Strange Clouds” with Lil Wayne (and the remix )? Well, on March 13th, Bobby Ray will be dropping an album titled after that very track. Stay tuned for details.

    1. this year starts off really slow….rap-wise…there was not a single interesting news so far..its not really hiphopdx fault, though

    2. YOU FORGOT ABOUT CANIBUS’ 10,000 BAR ALBUM BEING RELEASED IN MARCH RTJ INFINITY BABY! HIP HOP NEEDS THIS ASAP.

    3. All Im looking for is Nas album Life is Good..The rest of these acts I dont care about.

I hope we can get a Jay album too.

WTF happen to AZ Doe or Die 2

Hip Hop is so Weak right now

Can we get an Outkast album?

      Drop Detox too

and then hip Hop would be in good shape. Imgaine if they all dropped this year that would be crazy.

These new acts just dont do it for me.

    4. im exited for Obie Trice – Bottoms Up…thats all…Yelawolf should have a Slaughterhouse collab in there if not…im not gonna buy his shit

    5. Hip hop is dead?!?!?!
Nas is back!, Obie’s Back!, Ja’s back! and what they’ve failed to publicise is the dog DMX is back with his album dropping March 26.
Hip hop is alive and well!

    6. the only albums im lookng foward to is nas, kanye hopefully, jay z hopefully, slaughterhouse, banks hopefully,50 cent hopefully, kendrick lumar hopefully, and luda…thats about it as far as the people that i can see having an album out this year…..but we can all agree we need an outkast album asap

    7. Pain Is Love 2?! bwahahahahahahahaha, these sequel albums be so desperate, watch Amil drop All Money Is Legal 2 someday

    8. If Nikki Minaj isn’t doing porn or giving me sex, then I don’t care. I think everyone else can say the same.

      The Gangrene joint is solid.

But I’m only waiting on a few or so releases truthfully: Nasir, Roc Marciano, Mobb Deep, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, ALC, Kool G Rap/ALC joint, Curren$y/ALC joint, MadGibbs, Gibbs/ALC joint.

I’m not even writing the Outkast demo. It’s not gonna happen. Hopefully I’m wrong and surprised.

But I gotta get the Nasir and Roc Marc joints. Those are definites.
