B.G. Pleads Guilty To Felony Gun Charge

Facing felony weapons charges from November 2009, B.G. appeared before a judge yesterday to plead guilty in the case.

According to NOLA (via DDot Omen), the 31-year-old faces up to 40 years in prison for the crime, which occurred during a traffic stop several years ago. The former Hot Boys rapper had guns in his possession – a violation as a convicted felon – and conspired with an associate to get another person, Demounde Pollard, to sign an affidavit falsely stating he owned the guns.

Court documents point out that B.G. has connections to high-profile criminals in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. The prosecutors make a point that they’re aware of online videos where he brags about his connections to the criminals and various crimes.

B.G. will be sentenced on March 14, 2012.

    1. pretty sure the life sentence is 25-30?
i’ve never even heard of a 40 year sentence, let alone for 2 gun charges.
no doubt he’s in for it, but nobody gets 40 years for being arrested for gun possession twice lol, gonna have to call bullshit.

      1. The conspiracy charges are what will make up the bulk of the time. HipHopDX.com knows that people will read the article when people see Bg and gun charge in the same sentence. I look at that conspiracy charge as the killer.

      1. Right! BG needs to start making some of them deals with the DA that TI made. Fuck that street cred shit. Start snitchin my nigga. Protect your own neck…..

    2. Well…that’s that.

The State of Louisana does not play one bit.

And if anyone complains about this one bit I have a suggestion: Don’t break the law.

And the conspiracy to defraud angle is what’s really gonna kill him.

    3. t.i.p. is a cooperating star witness for whomever and i understand, because i wouldn’t put some dude over my family.

    4. BG was never a superstar, but his name was out there. With a better plan he probably could be where Wayne is today. Or at least in Juvenile’s shoes.

    5. This nigga looking at 40 years but T.I. got 11 months?!? The dude had automatics and silencers and got busted selling to the feds, yet B.G. is looking at life?!?

I figure Louisiana is tougher on crime than Georgia, but COME ON?!?

Niggaz must be stupid to think that rat didn’t go for the cheese.

    6. This wwhy I’m no longer african american , you black demons are disgusting . You talk funny and you buggers . So what if I suck dick and get my tight sweet hole punished I’m still black isrealite!!!!
