Nicki Minaj and Pitbull joined forces in Los Angeles, California earlier today to announce the nominees for the American Music Awards 2011.
Of the nominees, Lil Wayne and Rihanna led the pack for urban artists, nabbing three apiece (Weezy is honored as one of four in the Artist of the Year category). Musicians with two nominations include Kanye West, Chris Brown, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj.
