Prior to performing at The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, rapper Young Jeezy caught up with Bootleg Kev of Hot 97.5 to speak on everything from his dislike of the word “single” to a possible track with Drake, Andre 3000, and Jay-Z.

When asked about the mysterious Thug Motivation 103 track involving fellow rappers Drake, Andre 3000, and Jay-Z, Young Jeezy remained relatively tight-lipped but revealed that the project was possible.

“It’s possible. It’s possible…anything’s possible. Yea, it would be crazy,” said Jeezy when asked if Drake, Andre 3000, and Jay-Z were all on the track.

When asked if “Shake Life” was the official first single off of TM103 Jeezy went on to explain that he’s not a big fan of the word “single.”

“Real talk man I do what I do because I love it. I do what I do for the people who ride for me because I ride for them so I really don’t use the terminology ‘single’,” Jeezy explained. “I’m just putting out records man. You know what I mean. You get caught up in the single thing you might be somewhere you don’t want to be.”

Later in the interview Jeezy spoke on his favorite album thus far, The Recession, and how he had to humble himself while working on the album.

“It was The Recession until this…I really educated myself to get that album done. I put all my jewelry and my cars up, went back home, and just kicked it,” said Jeezy. “You know, I was just living regular. Like for real, for real though cause I wanted to get into that state of mind man because it was a bad time and I know that ain’t nobody wanna hear about my Rolex.”

Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition will be released on September 20th.
