While Gucci Mane is currently incarcerated, the Birmingham, Alabama rapper recently spoke to DJ Drama’s radio program on Hot 107.9(via HHNM) about his upcoming collaborative project with fellow Brick Squad member Waka Flocka Flame. Gucci also spoke on his arrest, promising that it will be his last.
“I’ve got a couple of days [left to serve],” he said in the interview before saying he’d be out on the 5th (today). “Get ready for me, man.”
“We’ve got the Ferrari Boyz coming August 9,” he noted, mentioning the group he has formed with Waka. “It’s like a hood album. If you want to know what’s going on in the urban community, if you want to know what’s going on in the ghetto, if you want to know what’s going on in the slums, you’ve gotta go get the Ferrari Boyz. Straight up…We really challenged each other and we brought the best out of each other,” he said of his relationship with Flocka. “That’s my little brother, man. We definitely brothers from different mothers. I love him.”
He also promised fans and listeners that this would be his last time going to jail.
