Atlanta, Georgia’s Pill has made a name for himself in Hip Hop but he’s also out to prove he’s got acting skills. He will be featured in a new film, 96 Minutes, that also stars Evan Ross and Brittany Snow.

“I play a character by the name of Rodger.” Pill told Billboard, before noting that he got the role after an audition. “I actually got a real role that I auditioned for. I’m always working. I make sure I’m always doing something to elevate myself or prepare myself for superstardom.”

The film is inspired by true events and deals with an event that brings four very different young people together. Aimee Lagos directed the film and other stars including Christian Serratos and J. Michael Trautmann will also appear in the flick.

This is not the only film Pill has worked on. In fact, CyHi Da Prince recently explained that he is also working on a movie with Pill.
