’90s west coast emcee C.P.O. The Boss Hogg, also known as Lil Nation went to the hospital early last month. HipHopDX initially reported the former Capitol Records artist as having suffered a heart attack. C.P.O.’s daughter Mikki confirmed with DX that her father had actually been suffering an undisclosed respiratory condition.
This week Mikki added that C.P.O. is presently recovering, as his condition improves. She did say that this recovery will take some time, and the family appreciates as the support and prayerful wishes offered to the rapper. Doctors reportedly are still trying to understand what happened to the Los Angeles emcee who worked with MC Ren, Death Row Records and Tha Chill.
