HipHopDX recently reported that Thom Yorke revealed potential collaborations with Stones Throw’s Madlib along with Madvillain (MF DOOM and Madlib). The Radiohead vocalist isn’t quite done there. This morning he announced that a side-project called Atoms For Peace will be doing some April Stateside touring. The group includes Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers fame.

Hip Hop fans will be pleased to know that the opening act is DXnext alum Flying Lotus. The California-based artist has recently done production for Finale and Georgia Anne Muldrow.

DX has also learned that Yorke, who remixed a track on DOOM’s 2009 album BORN LIKE THIS, is at work on Flying Lotus’ next album, Cosmogramma reportedly due May 4th. Stay tuned for more details.
