In lieu of the increasing popularity in DJ’ing electronic retail giant Best Buy will be teaming up with Monster Cable and Beats by Dr. Dre headphones to launch a new section of their store entitled Club Beat.
With Beats by Dr. Dre‘s solid consistency, Best Buy chose a partnership with Beats by Dr. Dre on this new project because of its quality and commitment to customers.
“It may not be simple to find these products in a mainstream environment—either you have to know what you need, or you have to talk to someone who is in the industry,” said Wendy Fritz, senior vice president of merchandising for mobility for Best Buy. “What we’re trying to say is ‘hey you can do this,’ and when they come into the store our Blue Shirts can say ‘these are the three or four products you need to get started.’”
Club Beat will allow consumers the opportunity to sample a variety of deejay equipment, from headphones to turntables and more.
As part of Club Beat’s launch Best Buy will put on a series of events promoting their new section. Artist’s including Lady Gaga, will.i.am, and Dr. Dre are all expected to make appearances at these events.

Club Beat will be available in all Best Buy stores, but only 300 of them will include a full Club Beat section.
