In late July, Ice-T was arrested and became the subject of a few headline stories. After the arrest, he spoke on the incident by insulting his arresting officer and making other comments on his Twitter page. Now, Ice is thinking about suing the DMV or his insurance company for making a mistake which led to his arrest. In a recent interview with TMZ, Ice spoke on this with more details.
“You deal with a lot of cops and you end up with that one bad apple,” he said, with wife Coco by his side. “This one dude hated Ice and wanted him in jail for some reason,” Coco added.
“I aint been handcuffs in 15 years so it was crazy. Basically he took me to jail because he could. At the end of the day, I had insurance. I don’t even have a point on my license. I was outraged because I done broke the law in my life and now you are coming at me with this?”
According to Ice, his insurance company’s mistake led to the arrest, making him weigh out options to sue.
“At the end of the day, after I get this dismissed … I either can sue the DMV or the insurance company,” he noted. “And that’s when I have my revenge.”
