Ice Spice has appeared to take another shot at Latto on her new single “Think U The Shit (Fart).”
While the two have been exchanging subliminals for a while, the Bronx rap star appears to make an overt reference to the “Big Energy” hitmaker on the track, which was released on Friday (January 26).

Over a pounding, video game-inspired beat from RIOTUSA, Synthetic and venny, she raps: “I got my foot on they necks, I can’t let up/ She all on the floor, told her get up,” which appears to be a nod to Latto’s hit song “Put It On Da Floor.”

Ice Spice began shading Latto last year with lyrics that also seemed to reference “Put It On Da Floor.”
She appeared to single out the Atlanta rapper on two tracks on the deluxe edition of her debut EP Like..? which arrived in July.

On “How High?” the 24-year-old borrowed a line from Biggie’s rhyme book by spitting: “Now she all on the floor when I kick in the door/ How you mad I do less ’cause you gotta do more?”
And on “Butterfly Ku,” she rapped: “Where she at? On the floor/ She gettin’ money, but I’m gettin’ more.”

Latto appeared to respond in a similar manner in her guest verse on Offset’s Set It Off album, referencing Spice’s breakout hit “Munch (Fellin’ U).”
She rapped: “That n-gga a munch/ Yo bookin’ fee, ate it for lunch/ I don’t do backends, need it up front/ I’m big dawg, you bitches is runts/ Don’t pull wigs, don’t pull stunts/ I pull triggers and I pull blunts/ I pull cars like it’s Tonk/ Bitch, you couldn’t top me in the bunk (ha!).”
Ice Spice also recently took aim at her female contemporaries in the industry during an interview with Variety.
“It is a competition at the end of the day,” she said. “People want to be all, ‘I’m a girl’s girl,’ but then behind the scenes being bitches. Basically, we here, the girls, are doing amazing. I’m excited to see it.

“I feel like the competition is what keeps us all excited because I think we all secretly enjoy competing and seeing who put that shit on better and who’s gon’ get the most views. I can be transparent, and I know the competition is checking on me too, which is why it’s OK to say that.”
It is believed Ice Spice and Latto’s issues stem from copycat accusations levied against the latter after she was seen striking a pose similar to Spice’s signature bent-over pose.

“Every time y’all accuse me of copying folks ima clear it up. Nun mo nun less,” Latto responded to the claims on X last March. “I don’t like how y’all take my tweets & make them fit ur weak ass narratives.”
