Ice Spice‘s latest song “Think U The Shit (Fart)” has just become her highest-charting solo track to date, according to new stats released by Billboard.

The song debuted at No. 37 on the Hot 100 chart as of Saturday (February 10), making it her highest-charting solo track to date. The Bronx native’s highest-charting track overall, however, is “Karma,” which features Taylor Swift, and which peaked at No. 2 on the same chart.

While “Think U The Shit (Fart)” clearly has its fair share of fans, conservative commentator Candace Owens isn’t one of them.

The controversial right-wing figure aimed at the Bronx native on a recent episode of her podcast, where she slammed the rapper and the content of her new song.

Owens said: “If you’re wondering whether it’s a good song, what do you think? It’s called ‘Think U The Shit (Fart).’ Now I think we can all admit we have fallen as a society.

“I wouldn’t say that was Mozart or Beethoven but I’m not these mainstream media publications who rush to defend this type of music like they did with ‘WAP,’ the most disgusting and filthiest lyrics I’ve ever read,” she added, referencing the Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion hit.

Owens then quoted a positive review of the song before saying: “This is the reason nobody reads this crap anymore. You guys lie about the big stuff and you lie about the dumb stuff. I just want to live in a society where we can all acknowledge that a song that’s titled ‘Think U The Shit (Fart)’ is in fact itself a shit fart.”

The former Kanye West associate doubled down on her opinion after her comments made headlines, writing on X: “The song is literally called ‘You Think You the Shit Fart.’”

Candace Owens previously became embroiled in a heated feud with Cardi B over her criticism of “WAP” in 2021.

Owens said of the rapper: “You are insecure and I irk you because I see right through the facade. You are a part of a larger cancer that is manifesting in black culture. There’s no person in America who can look you in the face and honestly say they wish they’re [sic] daughters turned out like you.”
