Ice Cube Presents L.A. Dodgers With World Series Trophy Via Lowrider

Ice Cube welcomed the Los Angeles Dodgers back for the 2025 MLB season in true L.A. fashion, pulling up on the field in a custom blue 1957 Chevy Impala.

The hardcore Dodgers fan was in the building for opening night on Thursday (March 27), where he presented the Commissioner’s Trophy to the defending World Series champions after riding out in his Impala.

“It Was A Good Day,” the Dodgers captioned a series of pics of the moment – referring to Cube’s 1992 classic of the same name.

Check out pics from the day below.

Earlier this month, Mike Epps confirmed he will be appearing in the long-awaited fourth installment of Ice Cube’s Friday film franchise – and he hopes that Chris Tucker will join them as well.

Appearing on The Breakfast Club on March 4, the legendary comedian, who played Day Day in the second and third installments of the film, revealed that the deal is done.

“Cube called me the other day and said, ‘We just finished the deal.’ So we doing Last Friday,” he confirmed. “[…] I haven’t seen the script but I’m pretty sure it’s good. And we gonna bring in the new comics. We gonna bring the DC Young Flys and all of them in with the OGs and it’s gonna be a good ass time.”

He continued: “Hopefully we can get Chris Tucker in it. We need to get Chris Tucker in that because people still love Chris Tucker. He’s still Smokey. He laid it down. He positioned me to do it. Chris, if you listening: we need ya, baby boy. Come on back!”

Appearing on Gillie Da Kid and Wallo‘s Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast back in October, Ice Cube teased new details about the next Friday movie.

“It’s coming back. We gonna do it. We gonna make it dope, make it funny, bring it up to date, introduce new characters, bring back old characters, create the feeling the movie gives you.”

Cube continued: “People love Friday because everyone experienced it. People love Friday because everyone’s lived Friday. Everyone has lived a thousand Fridays.”

Cube’s comments built on his earlier announcement that he was finally getting the go ahead from Warner Bros. to make another sequel to the comedy franchise.
