Cash Money Records’ legal woes don’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.
The multi-million dollar imprint hasn’t settled its lawsuit with two former members of the Hot Boyz (Turk, Lil Wayne) and now, AllHipHop reports the label has extended the period it has to respond to Turk’s monetary request.
Turk slapped his former label with a $1.3 million lawsuit on February 19, giving them 21 days to respond, or else the case would be declared a default judgement.
The rapper (born Tab Virgil, Jr.) told AHH – on the final date (March 11) – that both parties “are trying to resolve this matter without any litigation, if possible.”
“Today was the final day for Cash Money to answer the lawsuit, but they have asked for a 30 day extension,” Turk explained to the Hip Hop news site. “It only means that the ball is still rolling.”
Turk initially planned to sue Cash Money, just one week after news broke that Lil Wayne was filing a $51 million lawsuit of his own against the company.

Turk was a fucking drug addict,running wild doing heroin and crack,got his dumb ass locked up, and broke his contract wayyyy back when about 100 times..now he thinks because Wayne who has an actual case is suing him,that he can..haaa..this the same dude who has a KICKSTARTER for fans to donate too so he can “go on tour”,with a goal of $50,000,been up for a few months,and has like $380… this dude is fucking PATHETIC… i hate BirdMan…and i actually used to respect Turk until this sad sad move…you aint gettin a dime son..
