Producer/rapper Hit-Boy has revealed the cover art and tracklist for his upcoming free project HITstory, releasing tomorrow (August 7th).
For the release, Hit enlists Kid CuDi for the previously liberated “Old School Caddy,” as well as Bun B and Chip Tha Ripper for “Busta Ass Niggas,” John Legend for “WYW” and Stacy Barthe for “Running in Place.”
Hit-Boy already released the project’s first single “Jay-Z Interview” in June, and followed with the CuDi-assisted “Old School Caddy,” which he said was inspired by Outkast.

kanyes team must have designed it
YEA THE CHEAPER PART OF THE TEAM…
Kanye and his “team” didn’t design the WTT album cover if your making ref to its similarities… A designer at Givency fashion did and I wouldn’t be surprised if the same guy did cruel summer. Ye gets help with everything!
i dont think they did any design out there beside stealing the design concept of the quraan
Subpar music from a high profile producer thanks to that NIP record. He’s not bad but too mediocre to put a project out right now IMHO. I wish him success though. He’ll continue to improve. Get them yes men from around you and work harder on those vocals. Just need more emotion and conviction and you got it my G.
Second that, this is a good start though. Set the tone for more to come. Props Hit.

Hit em up – THEY WILL HELP U!!
it’s a good start. Dude has a lot of potential, and if this shit doesn’t work out for him, he’s still got producing to fall back on.
Brake Lights tho
This is fire foreal, its jus hard to see him as a rapper because he’s such an established producer, his stuff is a little less relateable than when kanye transitioned, his story feels more like Diggy’s
HE NEED TO STICK TO PRODUCING BECAUSE HE WASTING GOOD BEATS ON HIMSELF
that was actually a funny comment.
You just jealous cuz one of your man kissing boys didn’t get any of these beats. Just quit it, and go kiss SoIcyNutz or whatever his lame ass name is. I troll on you.
At least I gotta new cd to throw on when I need to fall asleep.
Half of yall posting must be Future fans ..cause your ear for music needs an overhaul..This a wayyyy better album production wise
or maybe they just dont like it?
HEELLLLLLL YEEEZZ NIKKAZZ
Its finally happened!!
lol
Brake lights is nice and all, just reminds me off a old rejected “Flashing Lights” approach tbh.
knew i wasnt crazy
its decent,i really dont understand why sum niggas wanna hate!
he just needs a few years to get lyrical not bad
beats are pretty good
shut up nigga.
he is just fine
yeah i thought he would be like when swizz beats started rapping on his own beats, but Hit-Boy needs a few more years to get lyrical right now hes just good
man that jay-z interview.. siick although no idea why he would name it that..
…Now this Cat biting of Kanye’s Cover Art!!!….
Decent. I almost think he ghost-produced for Christiano Can. Tell me the track ‘BORN’ don’t sound like him a bit…? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3GwWumIWLA
or at least on the beat switch
this shit was dope as fuck!!
would much rather have G.O.O.D. Music on top in mainstream than cmymb & mmg
G.O.O.D. MUSIC > ymcmb
This dude wanna be KANYE SOOOOOO BAD! From the ARTWORK to the his 1st song! All he needs to do is date AMBER ROSE…..mission accomplished!
The rapping on this album is pretty mediocre, but the production is, at times, incredible.
Producer rappers get the most criticism. Most people feel like you only could be good at one thing. I personally don’t feel that way, I feel people can be good at multiple things. Now on to Hit boy, honestly to me his flow is very mundane, lacks emotion, and lacks lyrical content. You can tell on some songs he is trying to imitate Kanye West, which is not good, he should crave his own lane as a emcee.
not a bad tape Hit. out of the upcoming producers / emcees this cat named UNDA is killing it. heard he’s a sound engineer too : http://unda.bandcamp.com
The kid is dope you can hear the kanye & drake influence but the lines are clean and the production is pure soulful elegance. Good Music for real.
