Longtime collaborators Dom Kennedy and Hit-Boy have once again reunited and returned with a new West Coast-facing slap.

On Friday (June 10), the Grammy Award-winning producer began making a case for the OPM lyricist’s induction into the rapper of the year conversation in a pair of Instagram posts announcing the release of the official music video for he and Dom Kennedy’s high-speed “Corsa” collaboration.

“Dom Kennedy got verse of the year on Corsa. i put that on my cousin,” Hit-Boy wrote.

Several MC’s jumped in the comment section in agreement, including CyHi, who commented a series of fire emojis, and Reese La Flare, who wrote “Check out Dom talking that shit.”

Though Dom Kennedy and Hit-Boy previously connected as featured guests on Pacman Da Gunman’s “Find A Balance” single in February, the release of “Corsa” marks the first time the pair had rejoined forces as a duo under their imprint A Courtesy of Half-A-Mil.

While there are no details yet of an upcoming joint-effort project from Hit-Boy and Dom Kennedy, the possibility of a new Half-A-Mil album is strong, considering their inaugural 14-track effort was released in 2017 and the follow-up Also Known As, wasn’t delivered until 2020.

Since then, both Hit-Boy and Dom Kennedy have remained active, with HB producing Nas’ Grammy Award-winning King’s Disease album and Dom delivering both his Rap N Roll album in 2020 and his From The Westside With Love Three LP in 2021.
