This summer some of hip-hop’s hottest acts will be making an appearance on the soundtrack to help promote Chris Rock and Anthony Hopkins new movie ‘Bad Company’. The soundtrack which is set to drop in stores June 4, three days before the official movie lands in theatre’s, will showcase music from DMX, Supervision featuring Ja Rule, Mr. Cheeks, Ali of the St. Lunatics, Pretty Willie, Outkast and Bubba Sparxxx. Ali says his song on the soundtrack is very popular in his native city of St. Louis. “It’s a big thing in St. Louis”, he said. “There’s a dance that goes with it. Breathe in/Breathe out/Do the chickenhead/Let it out”.
An unreleased collaboration that has only been available online between D-12 and the Gorillaz will appear exclusively on the soundtrack. The song aptly titled,“911”, was recorded shortly after the September 11th tragedy and features both groups speaking out against Osama Bin Laden.
